  • The Cottage at Chichester está a seis minutos de Fenicia, a solo diez minutos de Hunter Mountain ya veinte minutos de Woodstock. Ubicada entre dos montañas, con un arroyo en la parte trasera de la propiedad, la cabaña ofrece un entorno sereno y arbolado que seguramente encantará. Las nuevas y hermosas características de la cubierta incorporan iluminación oculta, perfectas para las noches de verano encantado.

    La cabaña se mantiene impecablemente limpia, nada menos que hará por nuestros huéspedes. Disfrutarás del baño completo de azulejos con fregadero de estilo retro, pisos de madera, cocina moderna y tragaluces. El cielo nocturno no se ve obstaculizado por la luz artificial, ¡las vistas son increíbles!

The cabin was the perfect choice for it's location. We used it as our home base while running the Manitous Revenge Ultra Marathon. Super close to town and all the hiking the Catskills have to offer. Also, perfect location to enjoy the Esopus Creek.

Paul was a very accommodating host and helped us out when we needed it. The cottage was extremely clean and well stocked. I have stayed in other homes and this was the nest one ever. My puppy was was loving the great walks in the property , when the bears weren't out ! lol. Highly recommend this home and can't wait to go back.

Paul was very nice, he even came by on the second day to introduce himself. I did have to clean out the freezer and fridge ( leftover food ) , but overall nice. Great location to relax after a long day.

Everything was clean, the host was friendly. We appreciated the welcoming attitude towards dogs - that's a big factor when we choose a vacation rental. The property is not as secluded as one expects from the photos, but the fire pit and walk to the creek are further away from the road.

The cottage is lovely. Could use a new sofa.In no way the owners fault but there was no water Definitely not on the creek either. I feel folks should know the creek is very weather dependent. Yard is well maintained and has both sun and shade trees.

The property was just as presented. The area was lovely, quiet and beautiful. 3 bedrooms gave each of us our own little space. Very comfy ...a nice eating area and kitchen and great little patio to listen to a great variety of birds, the quiet and relax with a coffee. We thought it wonderful!Our host Paul was very friendly and helpful.

Nice, older cottage in the woods with deck and umbrella/table overlooking the woods. Is on a state road, but peaceful and quiet with a large lot, and a creek. Kitchen was very well stocked, and had an expresso unit, dishwasher. Paul was an excellent host, with detailed directions to the cottage, easy check in. Close by restaurants, hiking trails, Mt. Tremper. Would suggest some deeper cleaning, found mouse droppings in silverware drawer.

The house was well kept and perfect for our little weekend getaway. The host was very responsive and helpful over email. My husband and I are thinking of coming out in the summer for a weekend and staying here again.

The house was in a quiet location at the foothills of a mountain. (Stand on the deck and listen to the wake-up call of a nearby creek. Not to mention, the brilliant stars at night!!) It had everything you needed for a relaxing getaway. Only 3 miles from a quaint, little town where you can be more social, if you want; restaurants, grocery stores, shops and a big park.The host was kind and respectful of those seeking solitude.

This was a great place to stay for a quick weekend snowboarding trip to Hunter. The host was great, very friendly and easy to work with. Strong WiFi/internet cable which was great for news and weather updates about the huge winter storm. Good privacy and a nice back porch. Will book this place again for any future trips to the area! Highly recommended!

A lovely little cottage, just as described. Was perfect for a weekend trip for a friend’s wedding in the area. Particularly loved seeing the full guest journals with past lodgers writing memories of stays there back to 2005!Good communication from Paul, and easy check-in and out.
