The room was fairly standard—nothing particularly special or memorable. Unfortunately, the beds were extremely firm and uncomfortable, feeling more like a wooden board with a thin layer of padding added as an afterthought. The blankets were also quite rough and not soft against the skin, which made it difficult to relax.
I had booked a balcony room, but the balcony overlooked the street and was so small it couldn’t comfortably fit any chairs—none were provided, likely for that reason. It definitely didn’t feel worth the extra cost.
While I could have overlooked these issues, the most frustrating part was having to pay for the room twice. My original reservation was for the 8th–10th, but due to a family emergency, I had to rebook for the 9th–11th. Expedia denied my refund request, and although the hotel initially seemed willing to help, they eventually stopped responding after a few back-and-forth messages.
I was genuinely looking forward to this stay, but the combination of discomfort and poor customer service—especially after essentially paying double—left me very disappointed and underwhelmed.
