You can hop on the orange line train a block away that will take you to midway airport or into the city or call ubers / lyfts

Other Things to Note:
Feel free to enjoy the pool table in the basement and the in-ground bath tub in the master suite!

We had a great time at the house, the layout is great, all the beds are comfortable and there was plenty fo room for our large group. It was easy to get around the city from the house.

We loved this mansion! We come to Chicago every year for a big drum and dance conference hosted by Ayodele drum and dance. 15 people ranging from age 5-50 and we all had a comfy place to sleep. Teens had a crash pad and game room. Kids had a big yard to run around. Hot tub and sauna for relaxing after dance class. Huge, well stocked kitchen to cook and plenty of seating to share meals and convos. Master suite allowed me, the organizer, my own safe haven for pampering myself in the deep tub and steam shower. This spot was 15 minutes from everywhere we wanted to go. There are great restaurants in nearby Pilsen and Chinatown. WE LOVED IT

Every year over new years we do a family trip. This year, with our kids and partners, we had 9 people. Best house we’ve ever rented. Bedrooms and main rooms were spacious and great. House was spotless and well stocked. Thanks for having us!

We took our extended family (15 people) for vacation in Chicago and this location was perfectly suited for our needs. We had plenty of room for everyone to gather in the same space, which was the primary reason for choosing this location. The train station was a short walking distance (a bit longer with seven children in tow but overall easily managed). The kids all very much enjoyed the games and amenities in the basement. My biggest complaints include that that the Wi-Fi password was not readily available, and I had to contact the host, but their response time was great. Parking instructions were sent a bit too last minute while we were en route, and I would have preferred to receive those with the check-in instructions the day before we arrived, as our three vehicles did need to be moved after our arrival. I would also recommend one or two baby gates be available for the stairways due to having a mobile infant in the house. Despite the few small inconveniences, we were overall very satisfied with our stay and would definitely return.

This home is even nicer in person! It is huge, great for a large group, with plenty of fun activities. We elected to stay in most nights as it was such a nice place. As some folks mentioned, there are trains that go by often, so that can be tricky for sound, but it didn't bother us and everything else more than made up for it! Plenty of free street parking. One thing to note: there are 4.5 bathrooms, not 5.5. The host was gracious enough to provide a discount to make up for this. Also, be aware that the ensuite bathrooms don't have doors (in case you have multiple people in a room). Overall, a fantastic experience and will definitely book again!

This house is beautiful and they are gracious with their amenities. All the spices we needed were there and they left access to plenty of towels and sheets. The beds were comfortable and mostly the showers were great. It is designed very well and plenty of room for the seven children and five adults. It is getting four stars because no where in their description do they tell us that it is next to the train tracks so that in the master bedroom it is loud and shakes when the trains come by. If they had told us, we could have been better prepared. It wasn't a problem after using a sound machine and good ear plugs and the rest of us got used to it during the day, but had they been forthright, we wouldn't have lost a night of sleep. Every room should have sound machines. The other weird thing is that the morning sun woke some of us at 5:30 in the morning. The curtains in the bedroom on the main floor are not ceiling to floor and are thin so the light streams in. Upstairs they have taken off the door to the bathroom so that the skylight in the bathroom is like having a bright light come on at 5:30 in the morning. Again, eye masks took care of it after the first night. Not enough sleep sure takes a toll on a person's first day. The walk to the train was further than expected so we ended up using the bus that dropped us off on the end of our block. We would not suggest walking home alone at night from the train or bus though. Be prepared and you will enjoy the house.

Celebrated my daughters sweet 16 w/close family and friends. Spacious, quiet, safe neighborhood. The home was clean and easy to access. It’s a perfect home for all ages. Really enjoyed my stay. Home away from home with beautiful decor.

Our stay in Chicago was great! The property management was extremely communicative before, during and after our stay to make sure everything was great. The house was spacious for our large group, we had rooms we didn’t even use. Overall it was a phenomenal stay! Will definitely book with them the next time we’re in town!

We came to Chicago for the Lions game with a large group of friends. Yes of course Da Bears beat us. The house was perfect for our needs. Lots of space. The downstairs was great having a pool table. Definitely will book this house again.

The home is gorgeous and well-kept, exactly as shown in the listing. It is also superbly well located vis-à-vis downtown Chicago and just about anywhere else you might want to go. On these aspects it is absolutely 5 stars. The only downside (and I was surprised not to see this mentioned in other reviews) is that the house is directly adjacent to the interstate and a subway/train tracks. And so when the trains and subways go by, you can almost feel the house shake. I wouldn’t not stay here again for this reason, but I’m a deep sleeper, and for me, the other merits outweighed this. But given the price point, I would’ve expected something in a quieter neighborhood. This is what brings my review to a 4-star overall.

Our sales team rented this property while in Chicago for a trade show, and everything was perfect for our stay. The location being close to McCormick is a huge plus. There are tons of things to do as far as entertainment in the rental, and it was very clean. They also provided lots of towels which was a big plus. Would recommend this property to others and would book again!
