Air Condition Did Work Majority of the Stay and Owner Went Back on Refund Promise

When we checked into the property we noticed the bottom unit was not cooling. After getting up with the property manager, they sent someone out but the unit still was not cooling, they could see this on the digital thermometer system. Also the upstairs window unit in the dining room was not cooling. It was a lot of back and forth to get them both fixed including maintenance people coming in the units once when I was walking out from the bathroom in a towel. By the LAST night, the issue was fixed and the 1st unit started to cool. I did not complain or get upset about the situation but they said for the inconvenience they would refund half the amount of our stay. Since we have left July 7th, except for communication about an accidental removal of a garage door opener that I mailed back, we have gotten radio silence. I have called and texted, left messages and emails both to the owner and the property manager, who by the way is a police officer, many times. Nothing. I have not raised more voice or gotten upset about the situation and I held off on my review to give them time to do the right thing. None of this is in writing anywhere,they just told me over the phone, so my word against theirs which I am assuming is what they are banking on. To have little kids and adults sleeping in 78 degrees in the beginning of July was not ideal.

I am not one to write reviews, but with the many things that I believe could improve are the following. Cleaning was not great which I did notify them about and responded. The beds were not comfortable at all and the pillows as well. There was not a mat when getting out of the shower. No coffee filters. One dishwasher so carrying dishes up and downstairs was an inconvenience. The floors are very squeaky and moving in the bed was also a problem. If you don’t like climbing stairs this is not a place for you. There are no outlets by the beds. There was no Kleenex. There are no dressers so needed to live out of my suitcase and very few hangers. I could carry on but these are things that could improve. I did like that there was a two car garage and it was spacious.
