Great plave

Rating Details: The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The only thing I found was they do not have a sign for the fire pit where the switch to turn it on is needs to be something for guest to follow and to to be able to see at night that the timer switch is for turning on the fire pit and not the outside lights .

Large house for families

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was the perfect size for our family plus 2 sets of grandparents. It was well equipped and had a great layout. It was very close to the hilltop pool which was great for our kids. The primary bed was very firm and the air conditioning was lacking on the upstairs floors. Could also use a could more chairs on the porch. Overall a great stay though!

Welcoming

Excellent place for a group of families, very clean and neat. Kitchen had all the utensils we needed, bedrooms and bathrooms in the main house were very clean and comfortable. Just wanted to mention 2 items that require attention: mattress of sleeper sofa very worn out, needs replacement; and the carriage house has a strong smell, not sure if due to the carpet or paint.

Beautiful vacation home

We had a lovely stay in a beautiful vacation home. The location was perfect. The only issue we had was with the local property manager who called to inform us we could not have our dog in the home. We only booked this property because it is pet friendly. It appears the local manager did not have this information.

Nice house and community but needs some TLC

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house and community were nice. However, our fridge broke the first day we were there. The management brought us a new fridge right away but it was much smaller, which made it hard since we had 12 people in the house. The microwave handle was also broken so we were nervous to use it. We also weren’t told about the amazing lake access and just happened to find it the day before we were leaving. We then found it mentioned in the manual but that needs to be way more advertised. We felt jipped out of an amazing experience .

GREAT FOR GROUPS

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The pictures online didn’t seem spacious, nope ! But not until we checked in is when our jaws dropped. Not the mention the carriage house in the back ! The kids enjoyed every inch of this home as did the adults ! We enjoyed our stay as a family & made new memories. This was our second time here at the lookout traveling in groups. Last yr it was 2 families, this yr was 3 families & next yr will be bringing more of our family out. You will not regret staying here. The only thing we had encountered on our check out day was when one of the workers put a sticker warning on the glass window. We’ve stayed here for 5 days & out of those days they waited till the last day to say one of our vehicles was parking in a non-parking space. Mind you there was 2 lines to show you can park there. Overall experience : 9/10

Good Times

We went with another family (our four kids and their two). We all had a great time, the kids all had a blast running around and playing with each other. They enjoyed the music video game with the microphone and instruments and we went to the pool, hot tub, and playgrounds every day. The house was clean, beds were comfortable. My only indoor issue was the range… if I turned the right front burner to low, the back and center burners all started trying to light. Trying to light the right front burner would trigger any of the other burners and then the right front would finally light with a massive flame that engulfed the large pan. I then stuck to the left front burner. I gave the “accuracy of online listing” three stars because the photos/description neglect to inform potential vacationers of the narrow roads with parking on one side only.. very irritating because we brought a jet ski. And had to pay to tie it up at the docks even though those pictures are included in the rental photos when they are not part of the deal. We never communicated with the owner so I cannot rate that experience. All in all we did have a great time and the annoyances were minor; first world problems.
