Quiet house in Chartres with terrace, garden, and wheelchair accessible

Nestled in greenery, located in a very quiet area of Chartres, high on the hillside on the right bank of the Eure, this very bright accommodation, classified as a city break by Gîtes de France®, offers magnificent views of the old town and the cathedral. The accommodation is furnished and decorated to a high standard, with an emphasis on bio-sourced materials (wood, wood wool, cellulose wadding, natural linoleum, water-based paint, rainwater harvesting, etc.). The accommodation is served by buses (supermarket, town center, train station, and hospital); free public parking is available immediately opposite.
The interior design allows for the accommodation of people with reduced mobility. A 15 m² terrace extends from the cottage and allows guests to enjoy the view and the sunshine; an enclosed and flowery garden with a shaded lawn completes the property.
Parking on the plot is only permitted for those with reduced mobility; maneuvering is nonetheless tricky. Gîtes de France® accommodation (direct link under the logo in the photo) consists of a large living room offering beautiful far-reaching views and opening onto a semi-open kitchen.

Single-story, non-smoking gîte. The host's home adjoins the gîte; access to the owner's garden is only permitted in the owner's presence, given the existence of a water feature.
Pets are not allowed: the presence of an assistance dog in the host's home requires limiting cohabitation with another animal. If Team's comes to visit you, you will prevent him from entering the cottage and will not give him anything to eat; Golden Retrievers are greedy; however, pet him as much as you like! Notify Gîtes de France® (link under the logo in the photo) if you do not want him to come and see you. The cottage, entirely on one level, has been adapted to accommodate a person with reduced mobility (hallways, bathroom, walk-in shower, sink, and adapted toilet).
However, an 8 cm step at the entrance and the steepness of the pedestrian access to the plot do not allow Gîtes de France® to obtain the Tourism & Disability label.
The rate, as detailed by Gîtes de France®, includes: bed linen for the stay (beds made upon arrival), and tea towels. The cottage's heating is electric, so you have 8 kWh per day (any excess must be paid to the host on site). End-of-stay cleaning is not included and is an option; whether or not the cleaning option is selected, the tenant will be responsible for emptying the trash, washing and putting away the dishes, vacuuming, and giving the bathrooms a quick clean, and tidying the furniture.
