Located just steps from the beach, watch the pelicans fly over from this lovely home boasting full ocean views! This 5-bedroom island home features an open living area with hardwood floors and a spacious kitchen.
On the first floor, the living room offers a spectacular ocean view as well as comfortable seating, a 42" flat panel TV, an entertainment center with and direct access to the covered porch and boardwalk beyond. Also on this floor is the dining room with a table and chairs to seat 8 people and a sliding glass door to the porch. The open, airy kitchen features a largely connected countertop; making meal preparation and serving the kids a breeze. The full-size, side-by-side refrigerator, smooth top electric range with a built-in microwave above, and dishwasher make preparing your favorite home-cooked recipes easy.
Four guest bedrooms on the first floor accommodate 10 guests. One oceanfront bedroom consists of two bunk beds, doubles on the bottom and twins on the top, and private access to the covered ocean-view porch. It shares a full hall bath with tub/shower combo with the second and third guest bedrooms having queen beds.
The Fourth bedroom has 2 queen beds, a 27" TV, and a separate hall bath with a tub/shower combo. The laundry facility is conveniently located and offers full-size appliances.
The second floor consists of a huge primary suite. The sliding glass doors and windows offer one of the best ocean views in the house! This bedroom suite comes complete with a king bed, private balcony, and a large master bath. A sofa for additional seating offers a spot for relaxation or for viewing the 54" flat-panel TV. The primary bath is spacious and bright. It features a large soaking garden tub, walk-in shower, double vanity, and 2 skylights. To make the most of your beachfront home, the ocean-facing porch provides a picnic table and rockers, perfect for enjoying the sights and sounds of the Atlantic Ocean at your doorstep!

Pricing  & Availability:
Enter arrival dates and departure dates. Click the book now button to view the price and associated fees.  For part of April through part of October our homes only rent for 7 nights, Saturday to Saturday stays.  During late fall, winter & early spring, you may rent this home for 3 or more nights, excluding Holidays.
--Policy--
When making an online reservation on VRBO,  you will receive a confirmation and a contract from East Islands Rentals once you book this home.  The contract must be returned within 24 hours to keep your reservation!  Payments are not collected until the contract has been returned and reviewed by  East Islands Rentals.
Damage Protection:
In lieu of a security deposit, a Damage Protection Policy is added to protect you up to $3,000.00 of damages during your stay.  
Travel Insurance:
East Islands Rentals offers travel insurance to all of its guests through Rental Guardian. Rental Guardian's specialty is the Vacation Rental Industry.  Travel Insurance covers you in the occurrence of a possible natural disaster threat to our area, medical emergencies, loss of a family member, loss of a job, etc. The cost is about 7% of your rental cost plus taxes and fees. Please email for the exact cost. It is highly recommended to purchase travel insurance through the Management Company.   Once a reservation is made the Management Company can add the Rental Guardian policy to your reservation.
If Travel Insurance is purchased through VRBO/Homeaway (CSA-Homeaway policy) their policy does not cover any delays or interruption of a stay, especially if a natural disaster occurs, such as Hurricane.  Management Company will not be able to refund any monies or move your reservation.

Paying for the view

Location and view are fantastic. House is ok, could use a lot of updating. Air conditioning does not work well, sticky doors, mixture of new and very old furniture/appliances. Hot water in master bedroom never got hot. Main floor beds are new and comfortable.

This property needs to be updated ALOT. For the amount of money they are asking per week, this should never have been the situation. The kitchen cabinets look like they haven’t been painted in years. They were so scratched up. It was ridiculous. Missing trim work, pieces of plastic over skylights. I can go on and on. Beware also, that there is a sign for the whole master suite stating that you cannot turn the air down below 72* ….. this in itself, is unacceptable. You’re paying for a house on the beach you were paying a lot of money for this house and you are being told you cannot turn the air down below 72! Would NOT recommend this home.

We sent pictures to the property manager, the home is very dated and needs many upgrades. There was mold and mildew in all the showers, broken hooks in the bathroom, cracked kitchen sink, both ice makers were broken our whole stay. They dropped off a table top ice maker and said they would send someone to fix, that never happened. The grill almost started a fire, the grease trap have never been cleaned. Shower curtain in master bath was missing hooks and full of mold. Kitchen drawers all stick and hard to open, toaster has no bottom plates. Property is beautiful but needs attention. The first think you see is an old couch down in the garage and a pile of old lumber. Would like compensation back as for what we paid it was too much for what we received. The property manager has all the pictures. Thank you, Carol

Great house!

We rented this house with a bunch of friends. Lay out was great. Master is huge! Right on beach. Great location! Could walk to all restaurants. Parking was easy. Great communication with property manager. Easy check and check out. Would definitely stay again, and recommend!

Pelican watch

The house is in a fabulous location and the layout was great for our family of 5+baby. The view is beautiful. That being said the furniture is very dated. Noticed a big stain on the mattress when we were required to strip sheets. The rocking chairs on the porch are dangerous. If those were replaced we would definitely stay there again. Thanks!

Simple oceanfront experience

A normal house (other than beachfront) with a large owner's suite and covered garages. Contains all the items one might expect, except baby gear must be rented (so we brought our own). Check-in requires you to visit a nearby realty office -- and there are keys as opposed to key codes which is a minor hassle when wrangling a few families. Had one issue with power out in one bathroom, for which they promptly brought battery-power lamps, but otherwise an easy experience.

Family vacation on the beach

The location of this house can't be beat. It is on a great beach and steps away from a county park and restaurants. The management company made it easy to check in and out and sent a maintenance duo to the house to take care of a loose faucet, toilet and door handle in response to our call. The house was clean and had all the necessary kitchen equipment to prepare meals for 7 people. The beds were comfortable, and there were plenty of towels for everyone. The house is showing some significant wear from the salt water environment and needs some maintenance done to it.

Amazing view but overall house was just ok. There were ants, dirty walls, dirty floors, broken blinds and very stained mattress in master. When sun came up guests in master had to wake up because ALL blinds were broken . Very disappointed. Mattress in master is stained and gross. The location was only real good thing . Very outdated needs cleaning and maintenance.

Very nice place

Overall the property was very nice and the location was very good. Some very small items would’ve made it better like the beds Downstairs seem to sag in the middle and the walkway to the beach was difficult where the walkway ended to get over the dune. But other than that it was a great place

Oceanfront Can’t be Beat!

Great location on the beach and close to restaurants at IOPs. We LOVED being ocean front and walking over small dune to the beach. New roof going on as we left, which should address water damage and other maintenance items. Property Mgmt Co. contacts were great. Some updates in kitchen amenities recommended, but bottom line, it’s all about the LOCATION!

Check out

I felt there was way to much required to do for the check out. The rental cost is already high and includes a cleaning fee. I felt as if I was doing all the housekeeping work at the end of my vacation which I paid for someone else to do.
