The room was clean, responsiveness was great, and the location was awesome. I just had a couple of items that brought down my overall score…..There’s no closet. There is however a rack to hang clothes, but makes the room look cluttered. There’s also not enough drawer space. There is one very small dresser whose drawers are extremely hard to open and not in good shape. Lastly, the room is above a popular restaurant that closes at 10pm; however, kitchen clean up with much noise lasted until 1am. I should mention that the neighbors behind us had a gathering on our second night that was noisy and lasted to 2am. I informed Duvet and they brought over sound machines.

The check in process was mostly smooth from our end. The property had something in the air that negatively affected our stay, which was our honeymoon. When we entered, my spouse immediately suffered a sneezing fit and severe allergy issues. To the host’s credit, they sent housekeeping the next day and provided an air purifier, which helped. Even still, we both experienced allergies, drainage, and sore throats while staying, which mostly resolved once we left the property and got fresh air. The windows could use screens to mitigate this. I suspect there’s something affecting the AC in the unit, either mold or residual dander from a previous stay. Once the air quality issue is addressed, this is an incredible property. Location can’t be beat, and again to the host’s credit, they were very responsive and check in/out was a breeze. We’d stay here again, provided the air is addressed—it put a damper on our honeymoon.

This cozy place was perfect for our getaway! My boyfriend and I really enjoyed the ease of walking to nearby shops and restaurants and absolutely adored the delicious little restaurant downstairs! Highly recommend staying here for any couple looking for a nice weekend getaway.

Stay Duvet has a parking spot on their property which is necessary as it is in a residential area near King Street. It is a quiet neighborhood within easy walking distance to many shops, restaurants and points of interest. We would stay here again.

The studio apartment was great, as listed it's above a wonderful restaurant. The noise was to be expected from the restaurant (the hood vent is right outside the wall so there's a constant hum) but none of that bothered us. They are kind enough to leave out a bucket of earplugs in case. Neighborhood was super nice, safe, 100% walkable. Vern's is amazing but takes some planning to get into.

We absolutely loved our stay at this adorable apartment in Charleston! Tucked away in a quiet, safe, and super walkable neighborhood, this spot felt like a true home away from home. The apartment was thoughtfully decorated, sparkling clean, and had all the creature comforts you could want—from a super comfortable bed to a well-stocked kitchen and cozy living space.One of the biggest highlights was having Vern’s, an exceptional restaurant, literally right downstairs. We had one of the best meals of our trip there—highly recommend making a reservation!The host was warm, responsive, and easy to communicate with throughout the entire booking and stay. Cute. Perfect little studio
We loved this location! Little shops, bars, and a fantastic restaurant right below the apartment. No issues, comfortable bed, and the kitchen had everything we needed for the week. The noise of the restaurant didn’t bother us at all, it closed relatively early and we were not disturbed. Also we took advantage of the club membership that came with the rental and used it to go to the gym/coffee shop.

Frustrating communication
My boyfriend and I were so excited to get to the location, and we had a very terrible time trying to figure out the parking situation. The instructions were unclear, and it took us 45 minutes of circling the property, connecting with the management company, and talking to the local restaurant connected to the property to understand the parking situation.

Nice place within walking of King
The place looked exactly like the photos. Very nice.
The thermostat is not allowed to and won’t set below 70. The windows don’t have screens so we didn’t open them.
There was a small floor fan that we used but we were so hot the entire stay! The outside temp was high of 70-72 daily.
I like to sleep way cooler than 70.
Pillows were terrible. Very flat and hard.
Bed was firm. If you like that.
You must have your own log in to watch any live tv on the ROKU smart tv like Hulu, YouTube, etc. That was frustrating and not mentioned in the description. Maybe focus less on all the restaurants and attractions and give more tv details.
More hangers on the clothes rack would be nice. There were 8. For 2 adults and staying 4 nights, we had multiple things to hang. No pants hangers either.
The 2 closets in the photos are not usable space. More for decoration.
The area was an easy walk to King St.
Having off street parking was nice.

Quaint with easy access to Charleston!
We were a few blocks from King St and all that Charleston has to offer. Very cute apartment for my husband and I. He listing stated that it might be noisy due to the restaurant underneath but it wasn’t even noticeable.

Comfy clean and just right for a couple. Nicely decorated. About .6th of a mile to the free public DASH. A bit noisy till about midnight but we were so tired it didn't bother us much
