"This is a charming old palace with lots of personality and the staff all were excellent. It was a welcome overnight refuge from Pisa after our plane was cancelled. Keep in mind it’s primarily a spa hotel with its own rhythms. And the food was delicious if a bit pricey. Also try the gelato shop across the street for the best gelato."

"Ladesäule auf dem Gelände ist natürlich super. Lage an sich auch gut. Alles andere hat nicht im Ansatz 4 Sterne verdient. Alles ist alt, Wände teilweise brüchig und kaputt, bis auf neue Kommoden und Fernseher, ist nichts auf dem Neusten Stand. Das Wlan hat nur in der Lobby funktioniert, im Zimmer gar nicht. Für 4 Sterne und den Preis pro Nacht, sind wir richtig enttäuscht worden."

"Great place.  If you are coming to PISA, stay here.  Less than 5 minute walk to the Leaning Tower and the vibrant restaurant and shopping area. Rooms are really nice, comfortable beds and come with a large bathroom.  Hot water and great water pressure too!  Lovely host, Francesca greeted us and handled all of our requests at check in!  Parking on site made the 1 day excursion to Pisa a pleasant and fun experience.  Lovely outdoor seating and dining too. I feel lucky to have found this place....

"This hotel has the best bedrooms I’ve ever stayed in a hotel. They were huge with every facility required, fridge, hairdryer, toiletries etc. The reception and restaurant staff at the hotel were brilliant, friendly, helpful and attentive. We ate evening meal a couple of times and the food is really good and good value. Could not fault the place."
