"What a unique experience this was !
Staying in a century’s old building in the Center of Sintra’s historic district was amazing.
Finding the hotel was challenging but once we called Karen (owner) for directions we got close and her wonderful assistant met us and directed us in and to great parking which can be problematic.
We liked the room and the breakfast Karen put on was delicious. We loved this hotel the people (Karen and staff) the area .

"The hotel itself was really nice and well maintained. It looked pretty and the staff was friendly. My issue was my room smelled really bad. Like a mixture of unpleasant body odor and cigarettes. Unfortunately there were no available rooms to switch to. The staff tried to help and provided a spray but it didn’t seem to work. For 3 days the unpleasant odor was there. Sintra was such a beautiful town but everything closes down early and it wasn’t great going back to a smelly room."

"The hotel itself was outstanding. It is beautiful and the location can't be beat. We stayed in a waterfront room and loved it. While small, the balcony and view absolutely made up for it. It's located close to so many incredible restaurants and shops. We enjoyed a gorgeous walk with a nice dedicated sidewalk to Boca do inferno with so much to see in between. Their breakfast is delicious with a great variety from eggs and bacon to pastries and even a gluten free selection which I really...
