"Me and my partner had a lovely stay at palm beach hotel. It was the perfect base for us to explore the gold coast for the very first time! Our room was big and we found the sink handy for brushing teeth/ washing face before bed without having to go into shared bathroom. That being said the shared bathrooms were modern and clean , very well maintained which we appreciated! Our room itself could definitely do with a face lift. "This place was amazing! It was a style of Palm Springs. Parking on site, 2 min walk to the beach, coles across the road, with cafes, restaurants and walking tracks. The owner was so nice and explained how he started this motel. The rooms including bathroom, kitchen, living room was huge. Between 4 people the place was spacious for all of us. "The apartment was lovely. Modern with great views in a very nice building. We were so close to the action of Surfers and so close to the beach. Had a great week. "The picture advertising the room - just like I'm looking at on this web page for this rating request is not representative of the room. The room was booked through WOTIF. I called and asked for an explanation and they said they called the Hilton but nothing can be done. I have contacted Fair Trading NSW and I will be lodging a case for misleading advertising and after showing photo's of the room advertised to the actual room allocated, I have been told I have a good case to lodge. Disappointing...

"Be aware the entire unit has 1 single aircon (none in bedrooms). Unit smelled of cigarette smoke. Fan/light combo turns on and off randomly (fun times at 3am with a 4yo when the light suddenly turns on). General cleanliness could do with some work. Carpets pretty dirty."
