Great Views, Quiet Neighborhood, Comfortable Living! Spacious.

  • Fantastic views to the SW on a treed ridge 6 miles from downtown Cedar City. All neighborhood lots are multi-acre, upper-end properties. Quiet streets, wifi, two televisions, BBQ, garage bay. Home is on two levels: 2 bedrooms and 2 baths upstairs, and 1 bedroom and bath downstairs. The bed in the master bedroom is king size, and the other two beds are full size. All rooms get plenty of natural light. An ideal choice for 4 to 6 people.

    NOTE: There is no cable or satellite TV. However, there are a number of stations received through the antenna, and there is Roku.

    If you want comfortable living with great, constant views close to town, but not in town, or if you enjoy leisurely walks along roads with plenty of pinyon and juniper trees, this place is for you!

To be, or not--definitely TO BE!

This is our second time to stay in this beautiful home while attending the Utah Shakespeare Festival, and we will return! Love the views, the spotless rooms, and all the amenities. Easy access to downtown Cedar City, and accessible to national parks. We need to bring some family or friends next time!

Comfortable, spacious with beautiful views

This property was the perfect place for 5 adults to both gather together and spread out as needed. It's a short drive to town but far enough away to feel like a retreat with stunning views, breezy sunsets from the deck, and a quiet lovely neighborhood for stretching our legs and getting the dogs out.

This was a gorgeous, clean, and well-appointed home and we really enjoyed our short time here! The only thing that would have made it better was if we could have spent more time enjoying it and the wonderful deck overlooking the valley. It served as our base when visiting both Zion and Bryce Canyon. The host’s communications were great, and the detailed instructions for enjoying the home and its amenities are thoughtful and were much appreciated.

Panorama plus

Beautiful view, rooms with all needed supplies. Lovely kitchen with all needed dishes and pans. Very helpful host, there was 6” of snow overnight, he quickly had a person out to plow driveway. Snow melted next day but was like a postcard on trees.

Excellent!

The house was everything we were looking for. Wayne was an excellent host with excellent communication. Sadly half of our group flaked on us last minute, which meant more space for those of us that did show. The view was amazing, we could even see my parents placefrom the deck. Check-in amd check-out were really simple. Would definitely stay here agai.

A very comfortable house

We really enjoyed the views from the large windows throughout the entire house. This was a very comfortable place to stay. The decorations were interesting to see. This was an extremely clean and well organized place. The house manual was very complete. The quiet and safe neighborhood made our daily walk very enjoyable. We really enjoyed our stay.

Everything we needed!

Great spot, clean and spacious. Perfect for a family of four. Kitchen was well stocked. A little over an hour to the national parks but the drives are easy and scenic.

Beautiful property close to everything yet in the hills

Wayne and Fran are excellent hosts. I've never seen a kitchen as well stocked. The downstairs is like a separate apartment. For a trip down memory lane, check out the vinyl collection. Convenient shopping in Cedar City and close to Zion, Brice, other parks and scenic rides. We loved our stay but could have done without the snow. Thanks

Wonderful!

This was the perfect place for our visit to Cedar City to celebrate our daughter's college graduation. Wayne's home was clean and comfortable for our family (myself, husband, two adult daughters and one senior dog) and had everything we needed. Would rent again for the sunsets from the back deck alone!

Excellent views of the mountain range and sunset. Quiet, nice neighborhood. Clean, spacious. Very well maintained and stocked. We found everything one could need at home. Good value for a large family/group. 10 minutes to shops/food, 1 hr to Zion.

Felt very safe and comfortable home and in this neighborhood

We are delighted with this property. It was very clean and comfortable. Beautiful hillside location with big sky views from many rooms. At first we balked at the nightly rate, but after arriving and seeing the property we realized it was a great value. The whole downstairs is its' own separate unit, with a bedroom, bathroom, a pullout couch and a conventional sofa. Upstairs features a master bedroom/bath and another bedroom with a queen bed and additional full hallway bath. so the unit sleeps 8+ people. perfect for families traveling together. The amenities were adequate: , cable TF, Netflix, endless views, a jacuzzi tub in the master bath. Ideally The beds could be less firm (my only complaint). Perhaps mattress toppers would improve the comfort The cedar city locale is convenient to local National Parks. Our dog was welcome and enjoyed the vacation too!
