Great location and the inside was clean, with a pretty well stocked kitchen. Some key utensils missing, so if you’re going to cook, bring a spatula (one for the grill was available) and peeler. The backyard was super private with beautiful views. As noted by another reviewer, some of the fencing is in need of repair.

This house is beautiful, clean, and the views from the back patio are gorgeous. My family and I loved staying here. Hot tub was amazing and clean.

Excellent location for a Gals weekend

Four of us had a lovely stay at Bodega breeze. House was warm, good kitchen and nice hot tub. Great walking location, cute neighborhood with funky houses and close to the beach.

Relax

We always enjoy visiting this area and staying at Magic Mountain Manor. Nice little house with all the amenities we need, and we love the view from the deck to watch the fog roll in over the hills.

Beautiful weather and views from the back porch. We also enjoyed seeing the bright stars at night in the hot tub.

Pet friendly but prior occupant left some pet gifts on the driveway and lawn. Would be helpful if lawn was mowed and some effort was put into fence and gate repair. Place was clean and view decent but little things like glitchy kitchen cabinet doors, loose faucets and sink drains you had to open and close with your hands as there either is no drain lever or it didn’t work just lent to the overall feel of minimal care.

The house is very beautiful and sits on top of a hill with amazing views. Sparkly clean, and the staff was very responsive when I called with some questions.

Great Retreat

Amazing home with stunning views of the Russian river, forests and night sky. We were able to catch a few shooting stars at night too at this magical place. The home was perfect- clean, excellent amenities, bed was comfortable, temperature was well regulated, would highly recommend! Hosts were very responsive and helpful.

Beautiful magic mountain

We really enjoyed our stay at Magic mountain. Great view looking out to Russian river. The house has a cozy feel with Nice big windows allowing natural light in the house. Nice deck area that is easy to block off if you have kids. I enjoyed cooking on the Blackstone grill. Good location between Guernville and coast.

The check-in and check-out process was great as was the receipt of info in advance. The owners are investing in the house and improving the home. Our biggest issue was the mice and then having to have visible mouse traps throughout the kitchen and catching 2 mice and having to dispose of them. And even this we may could have accepted had our contact shown some empathy for this occurring on our vacation - such as , 'oh we are so sorry, we will be right on it". Instead it was, 'well this is what you can expect in the mountains'. And we had to suggest they take care of it. The mice had been there some time, as there were mouse dropping throughout the lower cabinets, heavily in the spice cabinet, and along the floor perimeter in the kitchen and living room and in bedroom closet. They did provide traps, though no communication or instructions; we removed the 2 dead mice in the kitchen. It is apparent they are enhancing the home but replacing the kitchen cabinets should probably be their next enhancement. We are very sorry to have to leave this review.

Nice house, good location

Especially appreciated that the house was unscented, no perfumes or plug-ins, unscented products used on sheets and towels. The house is bright, even on a rainy day, and a nice light place to go after hiking in the dark redwood Forest all day.

Couldnt have been happier with this experience start to finish! Highly recommend the amenities of Magic Mounian

The house and kitchen was fully equipped with everything you needed. The only issue was the bed in the master bedroom was not stable at all.. And the curtains in all the rooms want blackout curtains and they Weren't wide enough to cover the entire windows.

The view was beautiful, but the property felt neglected and could really use a deep cleaning.Outside, there were at least eight piles of dog feces in the parking area and more on the back deck. The yard had an old bucket with weeds growing out of it, an old bird bath, and old chairs stored under the deck, making the property feel cluttered. There was a new grill, but it sat next to a rusted one that should be removed. The bar-height chairs were heavily rusted, and the old plastic couch and table appeared to have mildew. A loose section of fence that another reviewer mentioned still hasn’t been repaired, and exposed nails were sticking out, creating a hazard for pets.Inside, I found spider webs around the fireplace, living room windows and ceiling, the primary bedroom light fixture, and the downstairs bedroom. The A/C vent was covered in dust, and the downstairs bathroom door had noticeable stains.The extra blankets upstairs were tossed into a pile with what looked like a dirty pillow. The feather topper on the downstairs bed was uncomfortable and felt like you were being lightly poked all night. The primary bathroom shower curtain had dark brown and pink stains, and the waffle maker in the kitchen cabinet still had caked-on grease.The scenery is the best part of this property, but the lack of cleanliness and upkeep really took away from the stay. It’s better suited for a casual trip with friends than a special or romantic getaway.

Lovely Spot, House Could Use Some Upgrades

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, the house was a great place to spend time and in a lovely setting. The team at Wine Country Coast To Coast were responsive and accommodating.A few issues:- The primary bed mattress didn't fit the frame so it wasn't very comfortable. - The thermostat seemed like it wasn't working. I'd change the temperature but it wouldn't take.- The lighting in the main room was kinda harsh, a few lamps would help.- It would have been nice if the kitchen had some basics like coffee / sugar / oil / condiments.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Hi, great house, great views. Shower/tub upstairs stopped immediately and nightstand outlet was dead so had to ask for extension cord. Desd frog in hottub - no one to blame but prevented me from going in. Laundry room smells terrible. Storage upstairs was a little strange - so much room but nowhere to hang anything, drawers had no backs, bathroom had little place to put things. Strange to have a hottub and no beach towels. But overall great stay.

Peaceful and cozy!

The property was lovely. Such a cute house, lots of natural light. It was so clean. When we got there, the house was warm already, really appreciate that! Communication with the host was easy. Jacuzzi was a nice addition to our stay. Really cute patio in the back and the views are amazing. It was so peaceful throughout the entire stay. The only few things I wish there were in the house were shower gel and coffee. There is an espresso/filter coffee machine, but we couldn't find the coffee. It would've been really nice to wake up, make coffee and sit outside to watch the sunrise. However, we drove to Jenner and found the cutest coffee shop on Russian River (Cafe Aquatica), so not having coffee in the house did not affect our stay at all. Overall, extremely pleasant experience!
