"What a beautiful location! Lovely hotel in a perfect spot.
The staff were all so freindly and helpful, especially the extremely polite dark haired gentleman at the bar when we arrived. He took the trouble to show me to the room and explained everything.
The breakfast was also very good, great choice and lovely to sit with a view of the Abbey.
Would love to stay here again and would highly recommend."

"Weather was great went to visit my grandchildren who live nearby pod was great could do with a good clean on outside and decking was abit wobbly would come again good price for what it was the bed really clean toilets and showers considering how many people on site"

"There were some lovely touches about the general accommodation such as pretty chandeliers, nice artwork and grand mirrors.
We were in room 6 which was advertised as lacking natural light, this was fine, but the decor was so dark and such a dull lightbulb, it made the room feel so dingy. There was no plug point near the mirror, so doing hair was difficult.
On the plus side the bed was very comfortable and there was a lovely big fan in the room to help combat the heat. Also the bathroom was...

"Registration was cursory. Certainly not rude, just “fill in your details and here’s your key.” No offer of assistance for two seniors to carry suitcases up narrow stairs. No further information offered.
Room was adequate. Shower is traditional British style - in a very high narrow tub, very dangerous for seniors in my opinion. Notice in room that no outside food allowed, and may result in an additional charge. Overall good value for money, but more of a two star than a three star hotel. "

"We stayed 2 nights. Perfectly adecuate to stay and spend your day in the lovely villages nearby. The aetting was very pretty. The room was spaceous but hot (despute having a fan) and not very aound proof (it was a dog next door that kept us awake one of the nights), it also didn't have plug sockets next to the bed and the water pressure of the shower was low. "Lovely hotel, restaurant, bar, in an excellent location for shopping etc in Rye. Very good value for money.
There is no free car parking but the pay & display/RINGO is immediately next door and less than a tenner a day.
We can highly recommend this hotel."
