This detached cottage rests near Castletownshend, County Cork and can sleep 8 people in six bedrooms.

Dooneen is a spacious property situated on the outskirts of Castletownshend, County Cork. It comes with six bedrooms, comprising of a king-size bedroom, two ground-floor doubles with en-suite walk-in shower, basin and WC, two doubles and a ground-floor twin, together sleeping 8 people. There is also a family bathroom with walk-in shower, separate bath, basin and WC, as well as a ground-floor bathroom with walk-in shower, separate bath, basin and WC and a cloakroom with basin and WC. Completing the interior is a kitchen/diner, a utility, a sitting room with open fire and a conservatory. Outside, there is ample off-road parking and a garden area. Dooneen is a superb property for a coastal getaway with your loved ones. Note towels are not provided so you will need to bring your own.

Amenities: Oil central heating and wood pellet fire. Microwave, electric oven and hob, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, TV and WiFi. Power inc. in rent. Bed linen inc. in rent. Ample off-road parking. Large lawned garden. Sorry, no pets or smoking allowed. Pub within 3.8 miles, shop within 3.9 miles. Please note: towels and wood pellets for the fire are not provided so you will need to bring your own.

Region: County Cork is full of truly breathtaking natural beauty. With unspoilt beaches, historic castles, and modern visitor attractions, there’s plenty for all ages to absorb and there is always plenty to see and do in County Cork.

Town: Castletownshend is a coastal village in County Cork, located just 6 miles away from Skibbereen. This small village was built up around a 17th century castle and today plays host to quayside and harbour which make attraction focal points of the area. Within the you village you will also find a selection of amenities, and a short drive from the village are a number of history landmarks, including Gurranes Stone Row and Knockdrum Stone Fort.
