We enjoyed our stay at La Villa di STR very much. Its location was ideal for exploring Siena. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and exceptionally clean. We had a bit of trouble with the air conditioning when we first arrived, but they were quite responsive and it was quickly resolved. The breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of offerings that could be eaten indoors or in the quaint courtyard. Same with the nightly happy hour from 5-8:00 PM. We found the staff to be very friendly and accommodating. Overall, we believe it was a terrific value, and we would most certainly return.

Location is excellent for all the main sites. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DRIVE YOURSELF TO THE HOTEL - roads and directions are a nightmare.
Room was extremely noisy and lacked closet space. Lobby is grand and comfortable.

Excellent location very nice staff
We had an issue upon check-in, but they were able to deal with it and accommodate us. Be very, very careful when booking to make sure that you book the hotel and not the separate apartments.
