Peace Mountain Lodge is located in a quiet, peaceful gated community near beautiful hikes and the shops/restaurants in Cashiers. We found the home to be comfortable, clean and made for a wonderful location to ring in 2026!

Excellent location and gorgeous views. The house is spacious, well-appointed, and every bedroom has a king bed and en suite bathroom. We even saw a black bear on the road up to the house!

John was very accomodating and checked in with us to ensure everything was fine. We loved the five en-suite king bedrooms, very hard to find. The views were really good as well.

The home is spacious and has lots of room to spread out. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked. The bedrooms are large and beds are very comfortable. The view from the porch is gorgeous. We had a perfect stay!

We love the Cashiers area and have been coming during Fall for several years. We have never stayed in the same VRBO twice, but I think this may change. We loved Peace Mountain Lodge. It’s spacious, clean, has a beautiful view, and is in a wonderful, scenic neighborhood. We had good communication with the owner and felt very welcomed by him. Hope to return next year.

Scenic, quiet getaway

We had a relaxing few days at Peace Mountain with a few friends. We ate in a couple of nights and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Our favorite spot for meals, morning coffee, and evening cocktails was the back deck over looking beautiful mountain views.

A great house for a family group or a few couples. House was beautifully decorated and appointed with everything you will need including a well equipped kitchen. We loved that each of the five bedrooms had its own bathroom.

Spacious home, perfect for family events

Enjoyed Peace Mtn Lodge with family to celebrate daughter's graduation from WCU and early family Christmas. Home was spacious enough for each family to have their own room and bathroom. Highly recommend this home for those needing lots of bedrooms and bathrooms.

Quiet, mountain home with Mountain View’s and access into town a few minutes away. Enjoyed the Sapphire Valley amenities: pools, pickle ball and walking for a small, daily fee. Plenty of space and all bedrooms with en-suite baths to have privacy.

My second time at this home. Excellent for a large family or 4 or 5 couples. My group of friends loved the accommodations and the location. We will be back. John Peace is a wonderful host!

A wonderful experience

We had a wonderful experience at this property. As lovely as it was online, it was even more beautiful in person. Well appointed, clean, great flow, nicely equipped kitchen, areas for personal space, plenty of indoor & outdoor seating, comfortable beds, beautiful views and more. We happened to be staying there when Hurricane Helene stormed into town and our host was concerned and helpful throughout. We highly recommend.

Wonderful Family Vacation

Our family (aging ages 5 weeks to 71 yrs old) had a wonderful stay at Peace Mountain! The house has a perfect set up (the deck has an amazing view!) and the kids loved the access to the lake and pool at Sapphire Resort. It was also great to be so close to everything in Cashiers! We would 100% recommend Peace Mountain and would love to return!

Springtime in the Smokies!

5 adult couples, and we each had a very nice master with our own bathrooms! The shared areas in the home were spacious and comfortable. The outdoor living spaces were also spacious and comfortable. The driveway is tricky, but we are used to mountain homes, and “interesting” driveways overall it was the perfect spot for our family. Thanks John for the hospitality!

Enjoyed our Stay!

A beautiful home with gorgeous views. It was the best place we could find that had 5 bedrooms witiyj Queen+ beds for our all adult group. Owners were very communicative in our responsibilities and home was very easy to navigate. Steep windy Driveway was intimidating so be aware of this.

Wedding Weekend

Beautiful home and great location to Cashiers and Sapphire Valley. We had 5 adult couples stay for a wedding and there was plenty of space for all of us. Enjoyed to house so much that we decided to cook in one evening and eat at the wonderful big round dining table and enjoy the deck. Also took advantage of being able to play tennis and pickleball at Sapphire Valley.
