Quality, detached, modern yet comfortable villa set amongst stunning garden

Sleeping 6 to 7 people (by arrangement), this 3 twin bedroom, two bathroom, detached villa is in the desirable, peaceful location of El Rancho at La Manga Club. It was completely modernised and refurbished to the highest standard in 2015. All our guests have given us great reviews commenting on the quality of furbishment and the "home from home" feel of the villa.

The villa is ideal for both a family holiday or an adults only trip. Set in tranquil, landscaped gardens, with a large expanse of grass perfect for children to play safely on,this traditional style, 2 storey villa is air-conditioned throughout. The entrance area has a WC/cloakroom and leads to a spacious comfortable lounge/dining room with high ceiling and 2 contemporary paddle fans. The wood burner provides additional heating and a cosy feel for any winter visitors. In keeping with the style of El Rancho (the stables), the wooden beams in the vaulted ceiling add character and retains a link with the past. Light coloured floor tiles and dark leather sofas provide a luxurious tone. The lounge has a TV with a great selection of TV channels, and a few games (Scrabble, Bananagrams, cards etc). The property also has free WIFI. The dining area opens to stylish fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, microwave, hob and oven, extractor fan, lots of traditional terracotta earthenware, plenty of cutlery and crockery) with ample storage in high gloss walnut coloured and cream units, granite work surfaces, cream wall tiles.

Patio doors lead from the lounge to a large terrace with table and chairs for 6, an inbuilt BBQ and has great views over the Mar Menor and surrounding landscape. A large wooden dining table with chairs comfortably seats six and a retractable awning provides welcome shade above. There is an external staircase leading to a further roof terrace, which boasts stunning views of the nearby pool and gardens - the ideal place to catch the last rays of the sun in the evening. Both terraces have surrounding walls with inset wooden rails, thus providing good safety for children (If required, there is also the facility to use a child gate to restrict children reaching the upper terrace). Downstairs there are 3 generous bedrooms (one of which is en-suite with very large rainfall shower) each with 2 single beds and built in wardrobes, and in the third bedroom there is the option to have an additional bed to sleep the seventh person if required. There is also a large family bathroom, beautifully tiled. Each bathroom has a hairdryer. The light and airy master bedroom benefits from patio doors which open onto a small terrace and the villa's front garden. Set in beautiful landscaped gardens with bougainvillea, palm and citrus trees, the villa is a stone’s throw from the nearest swimming pool (pool 3 - guests at El Rancho have a choice of 9 pools). Bellaluz Plaza contains a some shops including a very well stocked supermarket, restaurants and bar and is a short walk away. All the resorts main facilities are within walking distance. As guests of the villa you can enjoy reduced resident rates for golf and tennis. Our management company are easily contactable and can arrange additional services such as taxi's, babysitting, supermarket shop for your arrival, provide high chairs etc.

La Manga Club and the Mar Menor offer many other activities such as bicycle hire, scuba diving on a marine reserve, kite surfing, water-skiing, wind surfing, boat hire, go-karting, hill walking; as well as superb beaches which are safe for children. The marina of Cabo de Palos, only a 10 minute drive away, is a delightful place to visit offering good seafood restaurants and an opportunity to sit and enjoy the sea views.Further afield are the cities of Murcia and Cartagena which both offer fantastic restaurants and shops as well as many places of historical interest.

Really lovely spacious villa in beautiful part of LMC with swimming pool on the doorstep.We had son/wife and grandkids - 6 people and it was perfect with large rooms and bathrooms to accommodate all comfortably.Been going to La Manga for over 20 years and stayed in many properties and this was great value compared to some terraced villas/apartments and would highly recommend.

The photos of this property do not do it justice. Perfect property, well situated to reach all of La Manga’s activities. The host could not do enough to support us with our stay before and during. There were many thoughtful additions to the property that made our stay even more enjoyable.we look forward to our return visit.

This is a great property, modern, well maintained and well equipped. Gill was a fantastic host, providing lots of useful information and instructions. The pool area was always fairly empty and also very well maintained. Great restaurants and bars within walking distance, I would definitely stay here again.

Property is lovely and recently modernised. It sits within a very nice community on the La Manga resort, easy walking distance to restaurants and facilities. The pools in the El Rancho community create smaller areas with plenty of room for all. Owner and property manager were easy to contact and very helpful. A lovely stay.

Just home from a fantastic week in La Manga, communication with property manager flawless. The Villa was perfect with spacious rooms excellent terraces and everything you need. The location was perfect with multiple pools seconds away. My family loved it, I can’t recommend a stay here more and iam certain we will return.

We had a good stay the villa well equipped with things we needed for our child Unfortunately the villa wasn’t probably cleaned for our arrival Gill passed us on to the management company which where not helpful or understanding.

Excellent stay in La Manga Club once again, property was ideal for our family and Sarah from the management company was on hand to deliver towels and deal with any queries. Lovely property, en suite walk in shower was fantastic and all the family used it. This was our 2nd visit to the resort and 2nd stay in el Rancho, which is a great area with 9 pools. The two pools attached to Liz’s property were great and although low in sunbeds, we always found a few so no issues with kids in the pool. Great weather and we would certainly come back to this property.

We had a very enjoyable stay in this villa which is light and airy with modern and comfortable furnishings. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you could need and all the appliances worked perfectly. The bathrooms are spacious and contemporary. Both the interior and exterior of this villa is clean and maintained to a very high standard - the owner has thought of everything to enhance your stay at any time of year. Excellent property!

We spent a week in this large detached El Rancho villa in high season. In decor and layout it's one of the nicest we have stayed in as repeat visitors to La Manga Club - it has been renovated to a high standard and has AC as well as modern ceiling fans and a decent kitchen. The location is ideal for families, being close to a couple of the communal swimming pools. The owner, Gill, could not be more helpful and was very polite and responsive in all communications we had with her.

La Manga Club is a gated golf, tennis and sports complex with a great variety of facilities, and restaurants reached in about 45 mins from the new Corvera. Airport. The complex is immaculately maintained and landscaped and has everything you need for a great holiday. Bars, restaurants and shopping are all within walking distance although personally I would not consider visiting without my own transport. Nearby towns and beaches offer even further choice. This Villa is well designed, spacious, clean and well decorated with a full range of necessary self catering equipment and comfortably furnished. It is sited in an enviable and convenient position, with some steps for access from the roadside parking. All bedrooms have spacious accommodation and plentiful storage facilities. Bathrooms are clean, bright and modern with luxury towels supplied. Both patios offer great sunbathing with stunning views over the Club, the countryside and La Manga Strip whilst you enjoy your evening BBQ or cocktail. We would certainly recommend this property and your are ensured a great holiday with use of the shared pools on your doorstep. The owner provides good local information and excellent friendly and helpful communication.

Hallo, We hebben met twee echtparen ‘60+’ een prima verblijf gehad in de villa gedurende de periode eind maart, begin april 2019. De foto’s en de info op de site geven een goed en juist beeld. Het huis werd bijzonder proper opgeleverd. De contacten met de eigenaar en de servicedienst (wegens een defect apparaat) waren heel positief. De woonkamer vonden we smaakvol uitgevoerd en voldeed prima. Er is airco met verwarmingsstand (wat in voor- en najaar prettig kan zijn) plus een open haard. De slaapkamers zijn recent nieuw ingericht met - vonden wij - prima bedden. Eén kamer heeft een fraaie en-suite doucheruimte met dubbele wastafel en toilet. Daarnaast is er t.b.v. de overige slaapplaatsen een bad met douche, wastafel en toilet op de corridor. Een derde toilet nabij de voordeur. Aan de voorzijde is een mooi ruim balkon/terras over de volle breedte van het huis, daarboven nog een dakterras. De keukenuitzet vonden we ruim voldoende. Eigenlijk alles is er (in voldoende mate). Het huis is voorzien van Wifi. Het huis heeft geen eigen tuin maar is gelegen in een parkachtig landschap dat is voorzien van meerdere gemeenschappelijke zwembaden. Er kan worden geparkeerd in parkeerhavens in het straatje. Er komt slechts enig plaatselijk verkeer langs het huis en de ligging is zeer rustig. Van oorsprong ligt het huis midden in dorpje Atamaria, dat echter geheel is opgeslokt door het golfresort waarvan het hele complex deel uitmaakt. Een klein supermarktje met best wel een ruim aanbod is te vinden op 300 meter. Op ongeveer anderhalve kilometer, bij het sportcomplex is een grotere supermarkt. Voor een Aldi of Mercadona moet je naar Cabo de Palos (8 km.). Het huis ligt tegen een heuvel, waarachter ten zuiden op 700 meter de zee spoelt. Per auto kun je er gemakkelijk komen. Om te wandelen moet je rekening houden met een behoorlijk hoogteverschil. Er zijn diverse kleine (grijze) strandjes in de nabijheid, veelal in kleine baaitjes, soms met een restaurantje of bar. De zuidelijke rotskust is van Cabo de Palos tot aan Cartagena niet erg toeristisch. Daarna komen er ‘echte’ stranden en dus meer toerisme. Echte stranden zijn er ook aan het Mar Menor dat zo’n 5 kilometer noordelijk van het huis ligt. Het toerisme tiert daar welig, met alle voorzieningen van dien. We stayed at this beautiful place at La Manga Club in February-March 2019 and loved every minute of it. It is modern, spacious, quiet, clean and comfortable in every respect. There is an amazing variety of very good restaurants in the neighbourhood and a lovely little plaza a short walk away. The owners are gracious and very helpful. If we ever return to Cartagena, I can't imagine staying anywhere else.

Spent a very relaxing week at this wonderful villa within the El Rancho community. Perfectly located within the La Manga Club Resort. Only a few minutes walk to Las Sabinas with its plenty of restaurants, bars and supermarket as well as to the Tennis centre. Very nicely equipped with everything you need for your stay. Definitely recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay in El Rancho. The house is everything which has already been said. It is very clean and the check in/out procedure very easy. We also received a very detailed information beforehand and everything is done so that you can enjoy your stay. As it was the winter season, we used the wood burner every night, which was brilliant. The best surprise was the proximity of the house to the Calblanque Natural Park. A few hundred meters and you can find trails with fantastic views on the Mediterranean Sea and the Mar Menor, and also access beautiful beaches. On the practical side, we recommend the British butcher “Missing Links” in Los Belones, and the Eurospar Supermarket in Cabo de Palos. There is also a Carrefour near Cartagena where you can find international products. The local supermarkets in La Manga Club are smaller. There are local restaurants in La Manga Club and we tried the Curry Gardens and the Asia. They were both very good, but more pricey than usual for Spain. We would not hesitate to recommend this house and location to our friends and will certainly return.
