Shore to Please Beachfront on the Boardwalk!

This well appointed, very clean beach front condo is located off the boardwalk facing the beach but also offers the privacy of a secure, gated building with elevator, covered, private parking and private beach access, pool, dog walking area. Essentially park your car & never have to get back in while here at The Cabana. Have coffee on the balcony watching the sunrise &/or cocktails serenaded by ocean waves in the late afternoon. All the comforts of home yet by the beautiful sea!

There is a private bedroom with a queen bed that connects to the full bath. Comfy pullout sofa in the den area. Cable TV & WiFi provided as well as a fully stocked kitchen ready cooking yummy meals. Keurig coffee maker.

Guests have a private balcony and private entire unit.

MK is in the building but will not bother you unless you need assistance. Please text for fastest assistance.

World famous Britts Donuts, Crush & Grind wine, beer & coffee next door, SeaWitch & Stoked for live music & lunch/dinner. Fentoni's for pizza, Nikki's Sushi, El Cazador Mexican & Nollies Tacos, the Fat Pelican has an extensive array of refreshingly cold beer in their walk-in cooler and fun, eclectic seating/tables inside and out- it's a Carolina Beach icon. Buzz' Roost, The Pit & Hurricane Alley are great sports bars serving food, the Silverdollar has karaoke, Carolina Smokehouse has great ribs & BBQ & water view seating, Lake Park Steakhouse (self explanatory LOL), Vinnie's Italian is great, too. Crosseyed Crab and NautiDog are on the boardwalk and fun, too! There's fudge, ice cream and awesome game rooms for the kids.

PLEASE download the VRBO app on your phone BEFORE you leave for your trip so you have quick access to ALL check-in instructions, access codes & your house manual. All pertinent info is also emailed to you. Check your spam folder.

Leave shoes at the door to reduce the amount of sand in the unit
No towels or clothing over balconies (outside furniture ok)
Please do not feed birds off the balcony
Please follow check-in & check-out procedures closely
Please do not boost the thermostat more than 1-2 degrees at a time
Please do not wash off make-up on towels/washcloths; only disposable wipes
Please do NOT put extremely sandy clothing or towels in washer or dryer
It is prohibitive to allow children or pets on the balcony without adult supervision at ALL TIMES!

If you plan on bringing your fur baby....There is an ADDITIONAL pet cleaning fee that our cleaners prefer you leave in cash at the time of check out:
-Small/medium dogs up to 20 lbs are $50 per dog
-Large dogs up to 55 lbs are $75 per dog
-Dogs over 55 lbs please get approval from host

Do not stay here. This unit was run down in many ways. The shower would not drain and there was standing water in it as soon as the shower turned on. There is mildew everywhere and on all vents. There is broken deck furniture and indoor furniture. When i reached out to the owner she was non responsive for 2 days. I then reached out to vrbo and they also tried to contact the owner with no response as well. When the owner finally responded back to me one day before our stay was ending, she was very rude and condescending in her response. I will never stay at this owners unit again.

This a great little condo off the boardwalk. You are in the heart of all the fun and have a very easy access directly on the beach. There is NO front office staff so definitely be in contact with owner. Ours was amazing and helped us work through confusion we had with entrances. We definitely will be choosing this location again.

It was great for 2 people and a small dog. Right on the boardwalk with sunrise views over the ocean. The condo was clean, well appointed and perfectly located. 5 stars

Great location but non-smokers beware

Perfect location, ideally situated at beach and boardwalk, close to terrific restaurants and shops. The place was generally clean, with good furniture and clean linens (tho the polyester kind that don’t absorb), but grimy all around the baseboards and scuffed walls. Dishes encrusted with old food—had to wash them before using, and the plates and bowls were not microwave safe (the dish itself actually smelled burnt but the food in it was still cold). Uncomfortable bed tho clean new linens. The deck is wonderful even tho it’s on the first floor, with a terrific view of the water. In the evenings, someone smoked nearby (at the designated smoking spots, maybe?), and it ended our evenings outside or even indoors with the deck door open (the only way to let air in), which was very disappointing. I appreciated the Keurig! Checkin instructions didn’t indicate where the unit is in the building, which after a long drive was not helpful. Generally fine, but I won’t stay here again.

Property Manager promised one thing and ghosted us without delivering

We were unable to reach the property due to tropical storm conditions that limited mobility throughout the area and prevented us from reaching the unit. The Property Manager said that they'd be OK with switching dates, but since then have not responded to multiple attempts to communicate via text. The chat logs from our stay have been completely deleted (although I was wise enough to take screenshots before that happened, if anyone at VRBO is interested). Ultimately the refund policy is pretty clear, but the fact that the property manager promised a variance and then has gone to great lengths to not even discuss it further (let alone follow through with it) says pretty bad things about the rest of their property management habits, and I would not recommend dealing with folks that are shady like this.

Perfect beach front getaway

The location of this condo is perfect to just park your car and walk every where you want or need to go. It’s always a positive for us when we can take our dogs with us . The property had everything we needed for a comfortable stay . We didn’t eat in at all with all the fantastic restaurants around but the kitchen was stocked with anything you might need to whip up a quick meal. It was clean and easy to communicate with the owners. If you are bringing your fur baby, there are tons of dog friendly restaurants and places near by. The condo has a small potty area behind the pool .we would definitely come back for another beach getaway.
