Octopus’s Garden is an updated three-floor duplex with 5 bedrooms, 3 ½ baths and an elevator. Two of the bedrooms are direct ocean front, but the other rooms all have ocean views through the 20 plus windows! Located in Carolina Beach, a prime beachfront community, this house offers breathtaking panoramic views of the ocean, has high-end finishes and top-tier amenities designed for relaxation and entertainment.

The owners take absolute pride in updating and maintaining the house. Over the years, the kitchen and baths have been remodeled, high-end furnishing as well as new appliances were purchased (including a new refrigerator, oven and microwave in 2025 and dishwasher in 2024) and carpets were replaced with hardwood floors. The home has been tastefully decorated with wonderful and unique octopus’ décor throughout.

The first floor has three spacious bedrooms – one oceanfront king room with a slider out to the deck, the second king with ocean views and the third with a unique queen over queen bunkbed. There is a large bathroom and laundry closet with a Samsung washer/dryer.

The second floor is open and spacious to allow for large family gatherings. It has breathtaking views from the many side windows and the double sliders which lead to a large deck. The living area has two sofas and a coffee table as well as a decorative fireplace. The large, updated kitchen (including a beverage refrigerator that holds 140 cans) is fully equipped with plates, bowls, glasses, pasta bowls, serving platters, mixing bowls, baking pans, a blender, toaster, BBQ kit, Cuisinart coffee center, crockpot, and a buffet warming tray. The two kitchen islands comfortably seat 6 people and the dining room table seats 8.

The third floor has two master suites with king beds and oceanfront/views. The oceanfront bedroom has sliders out to the deck with two chairs and a chaise lounge and an attached bathroom with a jacuzzi tub and a large window facing the ocean! The other master has incredible views of the ocean as well as west-facing views of Carolina Beach, offering beautiful sunset colors. The bathroom has been completely renovated with subway tiles, a tile floor and vanity.

If you need more outdoor space beyond the large decks, then the covered bar/grilling area is waiting for you! Enjoy some beverages at the hand-designed Octopus’s Garden bar with outdoor lighting or hang out on the brick patio with Adirondack chairs and a gas barbeque. There is also a toy chest filled with kids’ buckets and shovels, an outside shower, and direct beach access from the private walkway. The unit also includes beach chairs and towels for 12 as well as coolers and bocce! Up-to-four cars can be accommodated.

Once you park your car, you can leave it there as the duplex sits on a one-way street that is more like a pedestrian walkway, and convenient to almost anything in town! It's an easy walk to the Carolina Beach boardwalk to the North and the Tiki Bar to the South, as well as Carolina Beach Lake, the Greenway, Veggie Wagon, Britts Donuts, restaurants, and bars, including locals’ and tourists’ favorite, the Fat Pelican, voted one of the top 25 dive bars in the country!

If you've never been to Carolina Beach before you're in for a treat. We're a wonderful family friendly beach town with pizza shops, ice cream shops, seafood restaurants, and three grocery stores. You'll never have to (or want to) leave the island. During the summer there are free outdoor concerts and movies, a Farmers Market on Saturdays, and Thursday night fireworks, all within walking distance. Stroll the boardwalk, head down to the Kure Beach pier, visit the NC Aquarium or take in some local Civil War history at Fort Fisher. You can find new things to do every day or of course just relax on the beach and soak up the sun. You'll be glad you came to Carolina Beach and will want to come back year after year.
