We had a very nice time. The neighborhood is so cute, we went for walks every day and night. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you might need. The whole house was clean and the bedrooms are not on top of each other. It has a very good layout and fenced in yard. We walked to the nearby beach and it was a short drive to Washington Street and the touristy spots.would stay here again.

Pet friendly and family friendly. Beach was in walking distance. In town for Coast Guard graduation, so unfortunately didn't get to stay long but would definitely look into this property again when coming back. Very helpful and accommodating hosts. Really enjoyed it.

This home was perfect for our multi-generational beach vacation. Our tweens loved the air hockey and foosball tables and our dog loved the fenced in backyard. The home is very clean and inviting in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. We loved being so close to the bay to watch sunsets. Next time, we’ll be sure to bring a paddle board to enjoy there as well. We spent most days on the Cape May beach, which is a short drive. My parents vacation with us so we prefer to drive and park as close as possible to make the walk easier on them. Wildwood is about 25 mins away where we enjoyed the amusements and waterpark. There is shopping area very close by the with a grocery store and a great ice cream shop just quick few minutes drive from the house. We love to cook and found the home to be very well stocked with kitchen equipment and the outside grill is great! Our host, Debbie, was easy to communicate with and very friendly. We highly recommend this home.

Property was very clean and was as described. Beds were adequate but full sized rather than queen which is typical of most rentals we looked at. Our grandson loved the air hockey and foosball tables.The owner was super responsive to any questions/concerns we had. The house is walkable to the bay beach and the township pool across the street was great and reasonably priced (5/person for the day, 3 for kids). It was a quick drive to Washington street and the beach in Cape May. Our family enjoyed our stay!

Family vacation

Loved our trip down memory lane. Our grandkids got to experience what our family vacations had been! We revisited all of our favorite Cape May and Wildwood spots! Now that we all live in SC, it was a great experience and location to do all the things we wanted!

Family vacay

We had a fantastic time with our kids and dog during the 4th of July week. The house is great for kids and dogs, and the short walk to the pool across the street was super convenient. We knew we had to bring towels, linens and blankets and the house was the kitchen was stocked with everything you need to cook. They were incredibly helpful when we had questions and both Debbie and her husband were quick to respond. A great stay overall and highly suggest for families with dogs!

Perfect House, near everything.

The house comfortably accommodated seven people and two dogs, making it perfect for families or groups traveling with pets. It was spacious, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet, and the locals were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Overall, it was a fantastic experience—I would absolutely rent this place again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and pet-friendly getaway.Also, the beach that is about 5 blocks away is very clean and nice.

Cape May Wedding Stay

Check in was super easy with the code. The location is easy with Uber/Lyft to get to Cape May beach area - ample parking if you drive. Beautiful kitchen, comfy. You will need to make sure you read her listing - bring, towels, sheets, blankets and pillows. I neglected to bring blankets and pillows - but we made do. Overall a nice place for large group. We brought our dog and the yard was great for her. We did not grill but you can if you want. Game tables kept kids busy while we got ready to go out.

Summer 2023

Easy to enter with the code given us through my email. Place was very clean and had everything we needed. Very nice fenced in yard for our dog. Bay not too far away but we ended up driving to it and always found a parking space. The community pool was right across the street and grandkids loved it. Overall we had a great time!!!

Annual beach trip

The house was perfect. Very clean. Very well stocked. Very comfortable. Fenced in yard for the dogs was fantastic. About a 10-15 minute walk to the bay with the kids. Only trouble we had was the washing machine clogged the night we were leaving, requiring us to go to the laundromat to finish our laundry before we could leave (chose to do a late night check out because it was easier to drive at night with the kiddos.) Owners were tied up at their restaurant but were very prompt to answer the phone. Owner said this happens often with the washer when something small (ie sock or wash cloth in our case) gets stuck. Offered to fix first thing next morning. Minor mishap would not deter us from staying again, especially with their quick response. Fantastic stay overall. Thank you for hosting us for our annual trip to Cape May!

Fantastic

I had the best vacation in this beautiful house in Cape May. The location couldn’t have been better. Many beaches nearby, one that you could walk to. The house was squeaky clean with a beautiful wide open living room, kitchen, game room space. There was plenty of comfortable sleeping areas. The outdoor area was great for our 2 dogs with a great table and chairs to lounge around with the family enjoying drinks and chips before going out to dinner. The outside shower was to die for with plenty of hot water. We came for a family reunion and as soon as I get the date for next year I’m going to try to secure this awesome house. I loved this place and so did my family.

Great vacation

We had a great time staying at this house. It was extremely hot for our stay, so we spent a lot of time in the house. The kitchen is fully equipped with all you need. Stores and shopping centers are very close as is the bay beach and a community pool is right across the street. The house was very clean when we arrived and the beds were very comfortable. The yard is fenced in but not completely dog proof for a smaller dog. Overall we give it a 5 star and hope to return sometime

It wasn't what we paid for.

The code to enter was never sent. We had to wait outside to receive it. The place was dirty n very dusty with pet hair especially in bed rooms. Mayer bedroom vent was completely closed unable to sleep in that room for 2 nights. The second bedrooom bed was bent n my 30 year son wound up with back pain. The twin beds all were super uncomfortable therefore restricting sleep in my 21 year old daughter. Shower head outside kept coming off. The back yard was horrible. Burnt grass Ect. The table was on stone outside rendering it impossible to use. The air conditioner was controlled n would continue to turn off. There weee holes n scratches all over the walls. The pillows on the couch were falling apart. The carpet n couch in small TV//Living room were filthy with giant urination stains. And the couch had an odor that was ungodly. We have photos of all of it.

USCG boot camp Graduation

We enjoyed everything about the stay the only thing was that you have to bring your own linen, towels, and pillows and when traveling airlines it is difficult to bring these items however the property owners did make us aware that we had to supply our own.

Cape May Trip 2022

Owners were extremely responsive to questions and made us feel welcome with some treats! House was very clean and my family had a great stay! The fenced yard in the back was perfect for our two dogs and the outdoor shower was the bomb after a trip to the beach! House was exactly as advertised - would definitely consider staying here again.

Cape May Vaca

Property is in a very quiet neighborhood. we enjoyed a day at the bay which was very convenient and perfect for a toddler. we went to the beach 3 days and was a 15 minute ride and plenty of parking before noon. Cape May acknowledges Veterans which is wonderful. The only complaints we have about the house is the 1 bathroom sink backed up and the room with the bunk beds had a ceiling fan which you could not use or it would interfere with the child in the top bunk and could not open the door completely.

Great Family Vacation House!

Our group, including our dog, enjoyed our stay at this family/pet friendly Cape May house. The property is an easy walk to the bay beach {which offers BEAUTIFUL sunsets}, or for those who prefer not to walk, the drive is short and there is on-street parking and some small lots near the beach access. The other main beaches are only a quick drive away. [about 10 mins] Poverty Beach was our favorite & it offers free on-street parking. When returning to the house the outdoor shower makes it very convenient for washing off sandy feet and beach items. FYI, The beaches require beach tags. You can search for more specific information/pricing. The Bay Beach [closest to the house] made for a nice walk with our dog. Quiet & clean. FYI, no animals on beach Memorial Day - Labor Day 11 AM - 4 PM. There is a local community pool [Lower Township Municipal Pool] located diagonal from the house at Winslow Ave & Rosehill Pkwy. You can literally walk across the street to it. However, please note that it doesn’t open until late June. It was unfortunately not open for our visit, June 12-19, as the NJ schools were still in session. Pool looks beautiful though. If desired there is an indoor pool not too far either, Joseph Von Savage Memorial Pool, located in Wildwood Crest which offers open swim hours with day pass availability. The house’s kitchen was well equipped with everything needed for cooking and a grocery store [ACME] is super close. We all enjoyed playing the house games! [air hockey & foosball] The game room TV made it easy to connect & enjoy our gaming system. Local attractions we enjoyed/recommend: *Cape May County Park & Zoo FREE ADMISSION! About 20 minute drive *Cape May Lewes Ferry *County of Cape May Cold Spring Bike Path (easy ride for kids) Local restaurants we enjoyed/recommend: *Harpoons on the Bay *Vincenzo’s Little Italy (take-out/delivery) *Willow Creek Winery & Farm *Red Brick Ale House & Grille The Host, Debbie, was very responsive and is conveniently located next door if any issues were to arise. Thanks Debbie for making our stay enjoyable!

Absolutely wonderful house and renters!

A complete joy to rent from Debbie and Paul! The house was wonderful and in a great location, and they were the lovliest people! Would highly recommend and will definitely come back here again!

We enjoyed our stay in this house 8/2 to 8/8. One thing that I did not read clearly enough and I should have asked was about pillows and blankets for the beds. Be sure to not just bring sheets and towels, but pillows and blankets too for the beds. The kitchen was fully equipped if you desire to cook. The house was very comfortable for our dogs too. We had a wonderful time and I would recommend this house to anyone interested in North Cape May.

If you have a more ethnic last name, be cautious about where you choose to stay.

I was so excited for our much needed vacation. It was our first time with Vrbo so having a responsive and friendly contact was important. The host was responsive but curt and not friendly. I thought we did a pretty good job following all the house rules and even brought our own garbage bags so we can follow the specific garbage collection instructions. There was one garbage can in the kitchen but no liner and when asked about it, the response was "there are some trash bags in the pantry". Guest tip: bring your own 13 gallon bags. I'd suggest the host adds this part to the garbage clause of the contract. The host sent a message regarding an extra $75 charge for petty complaints regarding our stay. "House was left a mess. Furniture was moved and not returned to its original place. Towels on the floor, fingerprints all over the TV and storm door, lots of crumbs on the floor, and carpet. Cleaning people had to wait 45 minutes after checkout because guests were still there. Extra time was spent cleaning and washing towels to make home ready for the next guest." The last sentence would've been sufficient to convey that a late checkout charge of $75 was incurred. All other accusations of us leaving the home a complete mess is nothing short of egregious. The host has yet to respond to what furniture was moved. Fingerprints are an interesting complaint because all humans have them. We didn't spend our entire vacation touching the TV all week, the storm door usage was a normal frequency. Guest tip: wear gloves during your stay. We have kids with us and crumbs happen but tried our best to keep areas tidy even though there was no vacuum. The host seems to have an imagination of items that she provides. I think honesty of what is not provided and what needs to be brought in by guests would bring clarity of cleaning expectations of the guests. There is a $150 cleaning nonrefundable non-negotiable fee. The carpet needs a deep clean because it felt extremely dirty. The washer/dryer was not cleaned out prior to our arrival, which were the towels that the host blamed us for. We enjoyed our vacation but definitely turned off by the whole Vrbo experience with the host. Guest tip: make a video the moment you walk in the door saying the address and host name documenting the condition of the listing. Do the same when you make your final exit, fingerpeints and crumbs inspection on record. Last and important guest tip, AVOID this host.
