"It was very nice to have easy, free parking in this very busy area. Only 2 blocks to the beach & boardwalk. Very good location to get around Virginia Beach mertro area. Continental breakfast is good with fresh fruit and bagels but not expansive. Plenty of self serve tea & coffee options. Really liked our 2nd floor room with a large private bathroom. The outside porches with the rockers are outstanding."

"it started great with Julie at check in. from there it slowly started to not be so good. we ordered an ocean view room. we were told we were given an accessible room because the other rooms like pictured were not available. the managers reception at most embassy suites serves real food, all week when we attended it was warm cheese squares, crackers, raw vegetables, and a line to wait in for 2 drinks each. (not what we are used to) in our room we moved to sofa to be able to see the ocean and...

We were visiting as my husband passed away at the hotel 3 1/2 yrs ago and we were meeting with people he was working with at the time of his death. "Ok. First things first. You cannot beat the price of this hotel. I got an ocean front suite for $130 ish. I mean open the back door and the beach is literally 30 feet away. Fantastic. The rooms were clean. They were dated a bit but very clean and comfortable. My unit had a stove, microwave, and pots, pans, plates, bowls, etc. Is it as nice as the $300-$400 a night rooms? No. The pool was outside and warm and not crowded. The hotel is located right by the jetty and Grommet Park so if you park age...
