Perfection

This vacation rental was AMAZING! The accommodations were comfortable, the kitchen was very well stocked, there are extra bath and beach towels for use, pool toys, a cooler, plenty of places to lounge around outside, a private and beautifully landscaped lawn to admire, a quiet neighborhood, super close proximity to restaurants, beaches, and fun activities. It was the perfect respite from busy lives!

With a little TLC it could be 5 stars

The house had all almost all we needed pool and location on a canal were the best parts! The beds are QUEEN not king. I specifically asked management after reading other reviews and they lied. All you have to do is look at the beds and the sheets, they're QUEEN. Lying isn't a great option for a management company. The house wasn't dirty but it definitely needs a deep clean. The management company is not one I would rent from again. Although they're responsive, they're all business and seem to want to nickel and dime you with extra fees attached to rules. I prefer the more personal VRBO experience. Location is great, lots to do. Love the area!!

Not as expected

The Positives: - Great pool area! The water temp was great, especially since we had a couple cool days. - Simple check-in process. - Appliances and furniture were very nice. - Lots of bath towels and beach towels provided. - Cooler, beach chairs and pool floaties provided. The negatives: - Awful sewage smell when we ran the washer and took showers!!! Absolutely disgusting!! - Necessary supplies were not provided - dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent and garbage bags. I would not expect these supplies to be provided, however we were expected to wash our towels, run the dishwasher and dump the garbage. -Small amount of toilet paper and paper towel provided. - Beds advertised as king size, they were NOT - Bathrooms, especially showers need a thorough deep cleaning - Overall, interior house was in rough shape. Home would be really great if updated with quality craftmanship. - Would not recommend this home to our family and friends.

Management isn't managing

The house is beautifully decorated. The furniture and appliances are all new and in good condition. The TV is a smart TV that you have to stream your own subscriptions from. The pool area was great. The beach chairs were in excellent condition and a large comfortable size. Everything was clean. The canal is a beautiful site at sunset but not much more than that. The kitchen was missing some basic necessities that could easily be purchased at the dollar store. The booking and check-in/out process are very easy. The management company sends several automated emails with all the information you need. I contacted management (at the same number I previoualy messaged them on) immediately after check-in. The beds are advertised as king size but they're queen size and the kitchen sink has a sewage scent eminating from it. I didn't get a response so I emailed them. I got an automated response and then heard from the house manager. He stopped responding to me after I said we would deal with the sewage smell by covering the sink but that I'd like to speak to someone about the advertisement being incorrect regarding the bed sizes. I sent a second email looking for someone to acknowledge the incorrect advertisement for the beds and never heard from anyone. Queen size beds aren't an option for our group but we made the best of it. An apology, or at least acknowledgement, from the management company would have highered this review rating.

Nice house, terrible management, poorly suppiled.

The house and pool were nice and clean. Pool was kept at a very nice temperature which was nice considering the 70s temperatures. Property management was very rude and not attentive. The propane ran out and with no car I was hoping a manager could come pick it up and exchange it. I had to call 3 times. The first time the lady was the rudest person it was unbelievable. She acted as though it was such an annoyance for her to do her job or find somebody that could. Very disappointed in the customer service. The house was poorly supplied. No tongs for grill, no spatula for cooking, no bottle/ wine opener. A real-estate company came by during the stay. Nobody had informed us of that interruption which I found very unprofessional. Lastly, the cleaning crew came to clean the house 45 mins early to our check out, also found that to be quite rude. Nice house overall, will not stay anywhere in future with this management company.
