HOME: 3 bedrooms 2 full bathrooms.

First: Bedroom has a king bed.

Second: Bedroom has a queen bed.

Third: Bedroom has a set of double full bunk beds,
Twin over full bunk beds.

Couch with a pull out queen bed.

Additional air mattress is provided to sleep an additional two guests.

Primary bedroom is on one side of the house, separated by the living areas from the other two bedrooms. Both sides of the home have separate Air Conditioners for individual comfort.


PROPERTY: Conveniently located within an hour from Austin & San Antonio our waterfront home is excellent for lakeside fun. With direct access to the lake shore, its optimal for swimming, fishing, and boating.This side of Canyon Lake is a rock shoreline, providing a great area for swimming, or just placing a chair in the water for a quick cool off.

The boat ramp is a one mile drive, or 15 minute walk from the property. A short 10 minute drive to Crane's Mill Marina where boat slips can be rented on a daily basis and motor/pontoon/sail boat and Jet Ski rentals are available. The same marina is a 3 to 5 minute boat ride across the lake from our home. The Guadalupe Horseshoe is only a 15 minute drive; the same distance accesses fly fishing below the dam. Excellent shopping is available in Wimberley, Bourne, Gruene, Fredricksberg, the outlet malls in San Marcos, and of course shopping in Austin and San Antonio. All can be reached within 30-60 minutes (Fredricksberg is more in line within 80 minute drive). Gruene offers live music nightly (summer) and weekends (rest of year).



Open floor plan kitchen, dining and living room. Great for large gatherings with plenty of room to sit. Kitchen is nicely updated, and fully stocked with most every utensil and appliance needed! Kitchen also provides a nice bar that can sit 8 people, along with a TV for entertainment. TV's are located in all bedrooms for a total of 5 in the house, all equipped with Direct TV.

House has a 12X40ft porch, which over looks the lake and BBQ/Firepit area below. Porch is supplied with plenty of patio furniture, including a table for enjoying dinners outside, and couch for relaxing.

Deer visit frequently year round (some corn is provided) if you choose to feed the deer. A couple of foxes visit from time to time and are beautiful to watch. Cardinals, Mockingbirds, Dove and Titmouse's are seen frequently providing a great opportunity for bird watching and photography. Hummingbirds also visit in the spring and fall.

Beautiful lake house

We had a wonderful time at the Lake Haus!! It was stocked with anything we needed and just beautiful ! Porch and views were stunning !! Sunsets were so gorgeous and the deer coming to breakfast and dinner was a highlight !! We enjoyed our stay very much !

Peaceful Paradise

Our third stay at LakeHaus was as grayifying as always. The week flies by way too fast. The deer enjoy our visits as well. We always bring healthy veggie treats for them

Very disappointed

The property is nice location is a okay i was expecting better in the picture looks very nice but onest the house looks looks beautiful in the pictures and cleanliness i am very disappointed the was very dirty outside the coach’s outside were very dirty the ceiling outside is filthy the walls were very dirty filthy with spiders nest and curtains showers in the bathroom were very dirty is yellow on the bottom it was disgusting and in the amenities said the house peony beach towels and we couldn’t find them the tv in the living room couldn’t find the remote we weren’t able to watch anything in the tv

Perfect Place for a Family

Relaxing Lake House

Great place to hang out with friends and family. Plenty of places to lounge around inside and relax outside while watching the deer, squirrels and birds. Shoreline of the property is good for fishing and easy navigation of an any sized boat! Great place to stay!

Spectacular Adventure

Our week stay at Lake Haus was indeed spectacular with stunning sunsets ever single evening. We enjoyed feeding the visiting deer herd. Seeing and feeding fox, raccoons and squirrels were an added treat. Our accommodations were spotless and all provided by our thoughtful and gracious hosts. We will return to Lake Haus next October!

Great property for a medium to large group

The location was fantastic, there is direct lake access and the views from the porch are fantastic. The house is high and it's nice and open so you can clearly see the lake from inside the house and outside on the patio. The water level is super low right now, so there's not really an easy place to get in the water from the property but you can easily get to the water to hang out. There are a couple of places you can visit the lake within 15 minutes for swimming and relaxing. The animals are definitely part of the package. The deer will hang with you most of the trip. It's awesome that deer feed is supplied to interact with them. Everything was a breeze with the host and I will definitely book again if I'm making my way back to Canyon Lake.

Deer Lake Haus

Comfortable house with good lake access. The local deer herd was a big hit. Kitchen had everything that we needed. Cob webs needed to be removed from around both entrances. We will stay there again.

Beautiful lake house - perfect for family vacation!

This is our second time to stay here - so what does that tell you!? The house is beautiful, has everything you need, and is perfectly located with easy access to the lake! This is by far one of our favorite family vacation spots!! The views are amazing and the house host are also very welcoming and friendly. Would highly recommend!!

Spectacular Sunsets 🌇

Eight days was not long enough. We loved feeding the deer every single day while lounging on the well appointed veranda awaiting beautiful sunsets. Our hosts thought of absolutely everything to satisfy our stay. We will return to Lake Haus next year. 🥰🤠

The BEST place for a getaway!

This lake house is by far the most amazing place we've stayed in all the years we've been visiting Canyon Lake for weekends away. The home is gorgeous and sparkling clean. The furnishings and decor are relaxing and well-appointed. There is everything you could possibly need right in the kitchen and all rooms. The view is breathtaking and the BBQ pit provided some great family time around a fire. The lake access was exactly what we were looking for to fish and swim all day, it was wonderful! As a side note for all the difficult sleepers out there, the master bedroom has the MOST comfortable mattress EVER in a rental. I typically do not sleep well on vacay but slept like a baby in this bed. Bliss! The owners are wonderful and provided everything we needed to make out stay perfect. We are already looking for time off work to get back here asap for another visit!

Beautiful, spacious, clean, stocked!

We loved this property! The views were breathtaking, the house had so much room and was the best stocked Vrbo we have ever stayed in and very clean. The deer were eating from our hands every night! 10/10! We will be back!
