The stay was in a very convenient location. The area is safe. Amenities of pool and grounds were very nice and well kept. Supplies in the unit were very limited. I stayed for two weeks. No extra trash bags, no extra toilet paper. While I could have asked for more, I didnt. Went and bought some myself. The smell of sewer gases came and went. The laundry is not in the building, its down the street at a full service laundry mat. While there are a some issues. The beds were comfortable. Water was hot with plenty of hot water. The host was attentive with good communication.

Very friendly host and place was nice , quiet and clean ! Location was great with a free gated parking and easy 3-5 min walk to the nicest beach stretch in Cancun .

Excelente ubicación, a unos pasos del acceso público a la playa Ballenas. Más que suficiente cantidad de camas, el A/C muy bien, la cocina equipada con todo lo necesario para empezar a cocinar. El condominio tiene un bello jardín y una buena alberca. El anfitrión mantuvo buena comunicación.

Communication Kills the stay.

I’d love to review the property but I never made it in. I began contacting the owner through the app at noon on my way to Cancun since he had not provided entry instructions the day prior as he said he would. Through the day well past check in I sent messages. Being that I was in a foreign country by 7 pm. I made other arrangements. After 9 pm I was contacted by the manager. So just make sure you get your instructions and maybe the property is ok. They refuse to refund me because I didn’t try to call through the app. Whatever. You decide if being stranded in a foreign country on a Friday makes it incumbent on you and not them.

Did not have a guide book. We did not have hot water for showers. Was not stocked very well such as drinking water, toiletries, kitchen items. Minimal furnishings. You can walk to the beach but it is exclusive hotel properties

el olor del baño, demasiado desgradable. faltaban sabanas para el sofa cama, la television esta muy arriba, la estufa electrica necesita sarten especial. De lo demas esta muy agradable y comoda para dormir, y la vigilancia es excelente muy amables y atentos.

Great for a family trip

This is a great spacious property with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It is close to the beach and to transport to other areas within the island. Con: The master bathroom shower does spray everywhere and gets water all over and there is a sewer smell coming from that bathroom, this is an old property and we were able to manage that by keeping the bathroom door closed. Other than that, it is a beautiful location. We had a great time, it felt very safe with the guard, and would return again.

Nice getaway

Nice condo with security guards, Pablo was awesome, very helpful. The place was warm but the A/C in the bedroom was fantastic much needed. Only complaint was the amount of mold in the master bath, but otherwise great. Made do with the one pot and pan just fine. Community pool was nice clean and quiet. Would stay again

First time for extended stay in Mexico

Was nice and spacious and close to the pool which we used a lot. Disappointed in the closest beach. Should mention the public beach at Playa Marlin. Only a short bus ride. Need to mention restaurants in the area since you can’t go to any of the hotels to eat. Also instructions for the stove induction heaters for cooking. Took some time to figure out.

Property was walking distance from beach access and in a gated area with amazing grounds and swimming pool to chillout in. For my daughter and I was a great place to stay and feel safe. Owners were very helpful and amazing to deal with in our situation. Thank you again for all you help.

MUY MAL las fotos con las que ofrecen este lugar son engañosas ponen la laya para atraer la atención NO TIENE PLAYA esa playa es una foto de la playa pública mas cercana, el departamento no esta mal pero NO sirve la regadera del baño del cuarto 2, el agua en los lava manos casi no sale y los WC muy mal su desague lo que lleva a mucho desperdicio de agua, los utensilios de la cocina son muy básicos e insuficientes y aunque el horno de microondas es nuevo no se puede calentar mas que agua ya que los platos que tiene no son aptos para uso en microondas, EXPEDIA prácticamente se lavo las manos con la reservación y la reclamación nos mandaron con Vrbo quienes han dado hasta el momento todas las escusas para dar atención al reclamo que se hizo en el momento de la llegada a la propiedad, el anfitrión prácticamente también se hizo de la vista gorda con toda la inflexibilidad, lo único bueno es que la gente que realmente esta en la operación es gente amable y si de reconocer el área de la alberca muy bien.

Bathroom has mold/mildew

The master bathroom had signs of mildew/mold on the ceilings above the shower. The shower curtain was covered in mold at the bottom. The second bathroom had it on the Ceiling as well but not as bad. It looked to of been attempted to be cleaned at some point but the proper fix is to tear out and replace the sections or at least use Killz after scraping the mildew/mold off. The shower window in the second bath all was supposed to be frosted over for privacy reasons, however this was old and peeling off exposing the person showering very easily. A curtain would of been nice and easy to fix. Otherwise our stay was good! Very Spacious, pool was great, close to the ocean

HUGE apartment, 3 minutes from the beach!!!

HOST is awesome! Great at communicating prior and during the stay. This apartment is HUGE. 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, kitchen, freezing cold A/C in all rooms, WIFI, pool (small pool for kids as well), great pool view from the kitchen tables, short walk to the beach, short walk to main road Kukulkan Blvd (take R1 and R2 buses north or south to stay on the hotel zone), good mattresses. Pharmacy, mini market, medical clinic, laundromat all within 3 minutes walking distance. This place is great for families, it's quiet and convenient.

Stay Away from this property!

Very disappointed with the experience at this property. The overall cleanliness of the apartment was extremely poor. From dirty utensils, old and stained plates, cooking ware, greasy kitchen cabinets including doors, drawers, to unattended dirty windows and dirty bathroom stalls and used soap bars (by prior guest) to mention some of the inconveniences. Water pressure was terrible and there was no way to keep the water temperature consistent to take a normal shower. However, the three BIGGEST situations we faced that forced us to leave the property way ahead scheduled departure were: 1. The secondary bedroom bathroom window has significantly scratched sections big enough for anyone to be able to see right into the shower from the parking lot – What kind of privacy is that??? The property owner stated that he wasn’t even aware of the situation and that he was sending someone to repair, which he NEVER did and also caused us to waist our limited vacation time waiting for someone that never arrived. ZERO property management and maintenance skills and awareness. 2. There was also a significant amount of a fruit fly infestation allover the apartment – living areas, kitchen, bedrooms and of course in the bathrooms as well. 3. The fact that we basically had to clean and sanitize after prior guest and the uncomfortable odor that the pesticide leaves along with the property manager Emilio Picon’s poor attitude and repeated indifference made us take the determination of leaving the property after only having use the property for 5 days out of the 14 total days we were planning to stay and paid in full. I feel like someone just took advantage of me and robbed me. Not only the property was not in decent shape but the lack of care and concern for us as the paying guest, no sense of urgency to address the issues truly made us leave having to spend unexpected amount of money to somehow “save” the rest of our vacations. Just a little courtesy, care and concern would have made the opportunities in the property more manageable. One of the local commune area maintenance workers even said “no wonder why other guest also had left in similar ways” – I guess we had the experience right on! We will NEVER AGAIN stay at any other Vrbo property and DO NOT recommend
