Our whole experience at this resort was terrible and we will not be going back. Upon our arrival we checked in an hour early and they said our room wasn’t available which obviously understandable as it was an hour early, but then when we came back an hour later to get our room, it still wasn’t available so we walked out to the beach for another 30 minutes and then came back at their recommendation. The lobby was then full of a bus full of people, so we spoke with the concierge at that point about our room situation. He proceeded to tell us that our swim up suite room would not be available at that night due to it being overbooked but would be the following day for the remainder of our stay. We were very unhappy about this as we had booked 6 months in advanced and it was for our honeymoon. All the staff was very unfriendly and later upon talking to other Americans staying there, stated they were having the same experience with the staff, however the staff appeared to treat others differently. The only staff that was friendly were the security.
The room we booked had a pool attached to the rooms that was supposed to be adults only but frequently there was families with children in the pool and would often place their items on our patios and sit in the chairs. We specifically booked the room due to it being adult only along with the pool, again because we were there for our honeymoon. There were plenty of other pools and places for families to be on the resort.
