"If reliable air conditioning is important to you, I would not recommend staying here.We arrived to find the house around 80F because all of the A/C units were turned off. We were sweating as soon as we walked in, and despite following the host’s instructions, the mini-split system never worked properly. The upstairs bedroom repeatedly shut off, which also caused the living room and downstairs bedroom units to stop cooling. We had to restart the units multiple times throughout our stay, and we...

"Great place to disconnect for a few days. You don't need anything else. It really changes the vacation experience, being in contact with nature without having to be inside walls again. My toddler was very happy at the playground and with the animals on the farm across the street. The little refrigerator and wifi is very helpful. Hammocks are great to watch the stars at night. I recommend bringing your own barbecue utensils and asking Jean for the instructions before arrival."

"We stayed at a cabin in the Pocono Mountains and the location is the highlight—quiet, private, and a great area. The sauna and hot tub were nice features and added to the stay.That said, the property needs significant maintenance. There are multiple safety and structural concerns, including an uneven deck that appears to be pulling away from the house, a balcony showing signs of rot, and steeply poured concrete steps. The storm door closer was broken, and there were no visible carbon monoxide...

"The owner was supposed to give us the code to check in and never answered our calls or texts. We waited outside of the home for over an hour. Even Vrbo tried to get in contact with the owner. We were on a tight schedule and had to pivot and find an emergency local hotel to stay in. So unfortunately never got to stay. "
