"They were very accommodating- we got a botttom floor as suggested because we have a little climber. The partial ocean view/ pool view was amazing! The fireplace by the pool was breathtaking facing the ocean sunset! We loved the location, my favorite by far! Beach, stores,shopping, restaurants, we didn't have to drive anywhere for 3 days! The parking is pricey but i guess thats CA for you! Clean rooms, microwave, fridge saved money for food so we just heated up leftovers from restaurants. Pool...

"Rooms need renovating. Toilet not secured to the floor. Water leaked all over the counter from handle of faucet when water was turned on in the sink. Staff was friendly, but really no amenities to speak of. Vending machines down the hall we’re quite expensive. Swimming pool was one block away at a sister hotel. Would not stay here again and would not recommend. The only positive was the location, one block away from the ocean."

The biggest reason for the low review was based solely on the state of the rooms, old, bare, and in need of a deep clean.
