Two beautifully appointed bedrooms, each with their own en-suite, offer a calm and relaxing atmosphere with modern furnishings and plenty of natural light. Two foldable extra single beds for the 5th and 6th persons are located in lower ground floor.
Amani is located above Arco da Calheta overlooking the beautiful countryside and ocean. Close by, within walking distance is a bar and a café. The small village of Arco Da Calheta is 3 Km away and is a perfect base for walking and sightseeing holidays.
Calheta Beach and Marina are a 5-minute drive. A good selection of restaurants and bars and a well-stocked supermarket. Boat trips for dolphin and whale watching and coastal cruising and boat charters for deep sea fishing are available. A five-minute drive takes you to the famous Casa Mudas Art Centre with year-round exhibitions and a traditional sugar cane factory, one of only two left operating on the island. You can tour the factory and sample the locally made famous poncha.
The capital Funchal is a 30-minute car journey and the drive to the airport takes around 50 minutes.

Amani is located in the peaceful area of Arco da Calheta, enjoying a sunny setting with convenient amenities.
Arco da Calheta is also a great base for walking in Madeira, either along levadas or hiking, with easy access to the local expressway and to the Paul da Serra plateau.
The pharmacy of Arco da Calheta can be found 1 km away.
It is 4.6 Km to the resort town of Calheta, with its man-made golden sandy beach. Here you will, find a selection of cafés, restaurants, a larger branded supermarket, the marina (offering boat trips and dolphin watching), banks and a chemist.
A 10-minute drive will take you to either of the two surfing meccas of Jardim do Mar and Paul do Mar, at sea level and with trendy café-bars (try the caipirinhas and mojitos).
Funchal is an easy 45-minutes’ drive and the airport under one hour along the motorway.


Cleaning
The property is prepared for your arrival. For stays of longer than 7 nights, a change of linen and towels, and light mid-stay cleaning of bathrooms is provided on a day and time to be advised at check-in.

Booking Notes
The rental value varies with the number of people occupying the property, so please ensure you enter the correct dates, number of adults, children and infants. Please note that supplements apply should additional people join you for any length of time.
To secure your reservation we require a 30% deposit, or the full amount if you are arriving within 8 weeks. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to arrival.
A security deposit of 300€ is required by credit card prior to check-in.
The payment of a Tourist Tax has been implemented across all of Madeira and Porto Santo by the local Municipalities. This applies to all visitors to Madeira aged 13 or over, and costs 2€ per person per day up to a maximum of 14€ per person. Your accommodation is legally responsible for collecting these amounts and paying them on your behalf to the applicable municipality. The Municipality Tourist Tax will be collected via credit card on the online check-in procedure.
Amani is equipped with several outdoor CCTV cameras: one facing the main gate, one facing the garage, one overlooking the backyard and BBQ area, and one directed toward the pool.
Final details for check-in and driving instructions to the property will be sent 7 days prior to arrival and once you have paid your balance. A contact number will be provided, and to be able to access the property, you need to phone this number as you are leaving the airport. It is your responsibility to contact and advise the number provided on the check-in details to advise any delays to the expected check-in time.
Check-in times - at the property - are between 16H00 and 19H00. For Sunday arrivals and out of hours check-in, alternative arrangements will be made, and an additional cost will apply. Check-in and check-out flexibility will be applied where possible, but this will depend on housekeeping schedules and the departure and arrival days of other guests either side of your stay; a definitive answer can only be provided within 24 hours of your arrival for check-in and of your departure for check-out.
Pool maintenance will take place during your stay. This is scheduled for a specific day of the week which will be advised to you. Garden maintenance is carried out according to the conditions of the garden. Holiday dates (of which there are 13 in Madeira) will affect these schedules.
