Welcome to our spacious home in vibrant Calgary Northwest!
Conveniently located 20 mins to the airport and attractions like Banff Nations Park(1.5 hrs) and Lake Louise (2 hrs), our home is perfect for families, active travelers, and professionals. With nearby shopping centers and restaurants, our home offers everything you need for a comfortable and memorable stay. Relax in our serene backyard, cook in our modern kitchen, or work in our private home office. Welcome to your home sweet home.
The space
Outdoors Space:
Fully fenced backyard oasis with composite deck, mature trees, patio with outdoor seating area, propane grill, and garden

First Floor:
-Fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar & 8-person dining table.
-Spacious living room with Flat-screen Smart TV and fireplace.
-Dedicated study working room with a large desk and monitor

Second Floor:
-Three bedrooms, Master bedroom has a King-size bed and the second+third bedrooms has a queen-size bed
-A Bonus room (special to Calgary homes) which is a second living area with a daybed and lover seat

Other things to note
You are about 55 minutes from Kananaskis, Alberta, Canada. If you look at the opening scene in the movie Bourne Legacy, Jeremy Renner, as The Bourne Legacy's Aaron Cross, In a chilly Alberta lake (though it's supposed to be Alaska). if you look at photos of Elbow Fall you will see this is what is in the film. Leonardo DiCaprio's film. The Reverent was also filmed in Kananaskis. We refer to Kananaskis as a bear country.
You are about an hour and 30 minutes away from Banff National Park and 2 hours from Lake Louise.
Calgary is also known for the movie Cool Runnings which was about the Jamaican Bobsleigh team. That was filmed in Calgary Olympic Park which is where the 1988 Winter Olympics took place. check these out to get some idea of the scenery around here. The West is a beautiful country where many movies have been filmed. Movies such as Dances with Wolves, Jessie James, and a favorite of Kevin Costner. Yellowstone and Heartland are all filmed around this area.

The host was very responsive, check in was easy, and everything was exactly as advertised. The house is very spacious and well kept. The location is handy to shopping and very convenient to get to Stoney Trail. I would definitely stay there again.

A lovely house with thoughtful hosts

We stayed here for one month while our house was having major repairs done. The house is just as described and includes many thoughtful touches like tea/coffee, a kettle, coffee maker, and kitchen for cooking your own meals. Because we stayed for so long we brought many of our own things with us, but there's plenty here for any traveler without needing to bring anything.The house is clean and well-furnished. The hosts are very quick to respond; they helped us with a new water filter for the fridge within a day, and also helped me the same day when I accidentally had a package delivered to the community mailbox!There are helpful signs posted explaining how the shower heads work, how to use the remote for the blinds, etc. The house is conveniently located to major roads for people visiting and sightseeing, and more than suitable to live for a period of time, too. There's even a desk and office with french doors including a monitor to hook your laptop up to, if you need to work while you're here. Time and care have been put into making this a welcoming place to stay. Thank you for giving us a "home away from home" while ours was restored!

Perfect for our Needs

Our visit to Calgary was in regards to a death in the family and we needed a place in the right location that would work for what we needed to do. This home worked really well for us. It was quiet, comfortable and clean. It had enough amenities for our needs as well and having access to the garage when it was so cold with significant snow was a real bonus.

Good Location

The house is very comfortable - good beds ans comforters. The hosts are quick to respond and made our stay that much better because of that. The location is directly accessible to Calgary's ring road (Stoney Trail), so you can get anywhere easily. Close to Costco, Walmart, Co-Op, and much more.

Very nice property and excellent host.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was clean and everything was as promised by the host. The only suggestion we have is that it would be nice to have a few more bigger pots and pans for cooking. Still there are enough, but we love to cook when we stay at our rental property when we go for golf trips. Communication responses were also very quick. Great host!

Very cozy house

Vicky is a very nice host. The house was lovely and we had a great stay in Kincora. 5 stars rating is not enough! Way better than staying in hotel. Banff is not too far away either. Amenities were exactly like in the pictures. I would recommend anyone to come stay in Vicky's house.

Weekend in Calgary

A group of friends came with me for the Calgary Stampede and it was perfect. Comfortably slept everyone and was close enough for a $30 Uber to the grounds. The backyard is nice to relax in in the mornings.
