"When we first checked in to the hotel (rooms 333 and 334), the rooms were clearly not dusted in a while (could see visible dust on the nightstands, lamps, water bottles, rods in bathroom etc.). The sofa had large spots and were dirty. The WiFi was spotty too (general property had 30+MBps while the room had a weak ~1MBps had frequent connection drops). We immediately called the reception and let them know about the issue. We felt we booked the wrong place for our stay. The staff's reaction...

"Novotel Candolim is a very good and centrally located property with all the amenities you could ever wish and you can walk to any local shop or restaurant within a few minutes. Swimming pool is a nice place to be with a nice 35 meter length. Very clean and very nice. All the staff work as a team and are very friendly and professional. Breakfast is just amazing and we had many evening buffet dinners which were all very nice and the menus were varied and rotated daily. In short this hotel was a...

Things to improve - well the breakfast spread can be much better, & the house-keeping service can be a little more active coz there were instances where they'd forget what we'd requested for.
