Just a 100 metre stroll to gorgeous Holloways Beach, this modern home with your own private resort style pool is your ideal tropical getaway! Perfect for couples, families and business travelers who are seeking a relaxing vacation! The house is single storey, and is suitable for guests requiring wheelchair access.

Great for families, the outdoor area boasts your own stunning resort style pool with covered sundeck for entertaining or just relaxing your day/night away.

Inside are two elegantly renovated bathrooms, one that features a freestanding bathtub.

Four bright bedrooms and a main living area & kitchen with high ceilings that can all be enjoyed in air-conditioned comfort.

Overlooking the solar heated pool is a large, separate kid’s play area with toys and games.

BBQ was replaced however the gas bottle was empty. Inside was tidy enough however seems to be a lot of mould around outside walls and gutters has been there a long time even though recent heavy rain doesn't help. I would suggest a good gurni all around for health and aesthetic reasons

Really enjoyed my time here. The host was helpful and the space was clean and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities.The stay was great, but i have rated it 4 stars as the outside of the property could use some maintenance; there were a lot of overgrown shrubs, and it didn't feel very tidy.

While we had a great time on our holiday, and the location was great, unfortunately, there were a few things we found below par. Several lights around the home didn't operate as they should (couldn't even turn the main living area lights on as they flickered so badly), the TV in the bedroom didn't turn on (I took batteries from other remotes, unplugged it & plugged it back in, tried everything I could think of), no lights in the outdoor area (couldn't use the pool after dusk), horrible bird seed thing in the carport (not sure if it was an old bird feeder or old birds nest but so gross & creepy), dirty/mouldy drains in the bathrooms, full & smelly rubbish bins with maggots. I understand some people may think these are minor things, but we haven't had to deal with so many "minor" issues when staying somewhere on holiday.

A little corner of escape at Holloways beach

Home was very nice, owners were very helpful when needed and quick to respond. I would definitely return here if visiting this cairns again, as a short drive gets you out of the area. But we would probably go more north next year.

Great spot

This property is brilliantly situated - short walk to the beach, beach side cafe and bar and restaurants. Spotless inside, but other than the bedrooms and bathrooms the kitchen, indoor and outdoor furniture is a little tired.

Photos are a little old but would recommend.

The house was spotless and the owners were friendly and very easy to get on with. The house is quite close to Holloway beach and close to a larger shopping centre, you are very close to the flight path of Cairns airport so you can hear the planes during the day and I into the evening, but it’s not too bad. The photos of the house appear to be a little outdated as some areas of the house are a little worn, there was a bit of a dodgy electric socket in the lounge.that could do with some attention. A silly thing but there are no kitchen scissors only a pair of Childs craft scissors and the can opener needs replacing. Don’t be scared of the screaming at night it’s the birds that live outside the window they are quite fun and harmless. All in all a nice place to stay would recommend.

Great Holiday

Had a very much needed break with the family and this property ticked all the boxes, great location as everything was in easy driving distance. House was well presented with a great outdoor pool area. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were very nicely decorated Lounge area big and well appointed. Kitchen area had plenty of space. Owners were easy to deal with and replied promptly. Highly recommended

Loved it!

This was the best place we have stayed on our 5 week trip back to Australia. We had stayed at Holloway's Beach before, but this property was much better than where we had stayed many years ago. The house was spacious, had lots of extras in the kitchen and pool area, great bathrooms and comfortable beds. It's on a very quiet street with abundant birds and a very short walk to the beach and a cafe. It's a great place for kids and families because of all of the space and the pool. Will definitely stay here again!

Little bit of luxury

We were looking for a little bit of luxury to break up our 1/2 lap of Australia in a camper trailer and this worked out very nicely. Close to the cable car to Kuranda and the Smithfield shopping center but still in a quite neighbourhood close to the beach. Everything was as explained and the property was excellent. Had a slight problem locking a screen door but it didn’t cause us any dramas
