Fantastic place to stay (seven of us in total) while we visited family in nearby Cambridge, NY. The owner was incredibly friendly and proactively checked on us to make sure we didn’t need anything. Beds were comfortable and there were plenty of dishes and equipment to make cooking meals at home easy to do. Easy to get to the stores we needed and bring groceries into the house. The back porch (entrance) was enjoyable as well when the weather permitted us to sit outside and relax. Really enjoyed our time here and will consider booking again if we’re ever up this way in the future.

We really liked the amount of bedrooms it had. And the house was clean. plenty of parking space and right along a main road easy to find. The host was very friendly and workable, he even had the house unlocked when we got there. Would very much recommend this house.

Stay and received Exceptional Service

This is a convenient location on a main area road with plenty of parking. The place has large rooms to give everyone a place to rest and relax. most importantly, the Host is exceptionally accommodating, always interested in making sure guests have what they need.

Owner was very friendly, courteous and always available to address any concerns. Rental was clean and spacious (having an interesting interior layout) with a well-appointed kitchen to meet needs of a weekly stay without going out extra for meals. In a situation that was beyond the owner's control, the central air was down but he went the extra mile to put in several window A/C units which, along with ceiling fans helped keep things comfortable. My wife has problems with walking so the only downside was the floor plan having stairs leading to a couple of the bedrooms and the outside stairs were steeper (and deep) than usual. Be advised that the bathrooms are also not handicap accessible. Although the restaurant downstairs was closed due to the A/C situation, having it available will be an extra to enhance your stay. Knowing there are some limitations, we have no problem recommending this listing for groups/family who need lots of space and a convenient location for golfing or family get-togethers.

The host was very welcoming and the amenities were plentiful. There were plenty of wash cloths, towels, laundry detergent, and cooking supplies, which is always helpful when you’re from out of town. It’s nice to have coffee, sugar, salt, etc. available so you don’t have to purchase them.
