"This was expensive for what it was but I guess there are a lot of tourists in Orkney and not a lot of accommodation! Over £200 a night for a small room, double bed (not king). "Cosy and very clean with lots to make a comfortable stay.Fabulous artwork around the cottage linked to the area added much to the overall experience Fabulous views from the sitting room window. Good quality towels and bedding and well equipped kitchen.Would definitely stay again."

"John o groats is a small area with most things closing around 6 pm. The hotel is very nice and the room and a full kitchen that means we didn’t have to rely on facilities being open. Beautiful room with great view of the North Sea."
