Vacaciones en Burnmouth

Excelente hospedaje, muy amplio, IDEAL para familias y convenientemente localizado a paso de la Royal Mile.

The hotel is a beautiful old building with splendid high-ceiling rooms. The room itself was large and comfortable with a large bed and lush furnishings. The staff were helpful and friendly and we got a complimentary glass of wine in the salon. A few criticisms: The wifi was absolutely terrible. We actually had to remove the wifi and switch to mobile data before we could actually do anything online. The shower didn't have a soap dispenser and there was nowhere to put the dispenser from the sink where it wouldn't slide off. One last thing: I know that all old buildings of this type tend to have old single-paned windows, and perhaps there are legal restrictions on the modifications that can be made, but it's possible to install double glazing with wooden frames these days and retain the original aesthetics. It was summer and not especially cold but the heating was on, and those old windows are draughty. This is a less a criticism of this particular hotel and more a general complaint: it's 2017 and single-paned windows have to go, seriously.
