"Edward and Caroline are very friendly and the barn delivers on feeling historical. The bathroom amenities are very nice, and that it's walkable to Cookham's high street is quite nice, and I appreciated having tea and juice.
It was important to me to have parking onsite - and the parking is actually on the road (I normally drive on the opposite side of the road and wanted to have the simplest of parking experiences). Communication was easy when Edward was outside working, but communication...

"Generally we were happy with location parking and communication. However the flat could do with a refresh. The walls need painted and the bathrooms had a lot of mold. The place looked old and tired, however it was spacious and comfortable.
Coat hooks and a mat for wet shoes would be helpful"

"Not bad, not great.
The room was a bit dirty at my arrival but not overly.
The balcony is not a balcony. Just an extra space in the room with big windows facing apartments. There should be another layer of curtains (sheer ones), so you can let the sunlight in and have privacy.
No room service. No big deal as I’m a tidy person but I was surprised."

"We loved Ferrum! It’s a close location to Wembley Stadium and near a ton of grocery stores and restaurants. We also traveled from the airport to the hotel and the train dropped us right across the street, which is a huge plus!! Everyone was so nice to us and the description on the listing when we booked matched exactly what was said. Didn’t even realize with the full kitchen we got everything we needed to cook, which is a huge plus if you want to stay in and cook a meal"

"Thomas was a great host! He was very responsive and helpful, especially during my silly little door mishap 😂 completely human error after nearly 19 hours of traveling!
The flat was clean, fresh, and comfortable, and the Wi-Fi worked great. Everything was exactly what we needed for our stay, and I really appreciated how quickly Thomas responded whenever I reached out.
We had a great stay and would definitely recommend Thomas as a host! 😊"

"The purple turtle pub outside our room made an incredible racket until all hours of the morning every night.
As we used the location as a hub to drive from, it was very conveniently located, though the on site parking very tricky, given the requirement for a bus lane permit. Unfortunately costing us one fine before getting right.
The hosts were lovely and the rooms well presented."
