Brand new, ultra luxurious designer decorated apartment, located in the heart of Budapest's tourist center by St. Stephen's basilica.
This beautiful 2 bedroom apartment can sleep comfortably up to 6 adults. It has a large living room, a dining room, an office, a beautiful bathroom, an eat-in kitchen and a balcony. It is surrounded by great restaurants, bakeries and cafes and is within short walking distance to all of the main tourist attractions. There are a taxi station and a metro station located directly across the building should you wish to use public transportation.

The unit was very nicely decorated and as described in the listing. The kitchen was well-stocked. The combo washer/dryer was a big plus! Internet worked well. Unit was clean. Location was excellent and it was easy to access the apartment. The biggest negative was that we were FREEZING! The night time temperatures were in the low 40'sF. The radiators did not work, the entire building was not heated, the windows leaked a lot of cold air, and the two wall units that had a heat setting did not put out any actual heat. This would not be a problem for warm weather stays but it was a big problem for us. In addition, the unit was in need of some basic maintenance with multiple loose fixtures, burnt-out lightbulbs, old pillows, etc.

A Wonderful Stay!

This was a great place for our family trip. A beautiful unit that was close to lots of sights and restaurants. Very quiet at night made for a relaxing sleep. Plenty of space to relax and spread out. Very comfortable. Thank you.

Lovely apartment in great location

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was lovely and perfect for the two of us. Several small grocery stores near by so you can fix meals if you like. Everything worked as described in listing. Loved the location. Easy to get around. If you are 65 or older, public transportation is free to use, making it easy to get to most places you would like to visit. Lots of restaurant within walking distance to enjoy.

Great place. Good location.

Location is perfect, 3-minute walk to Deak Ferenc metro and St Stephen's Basilica. Loved the ceiling heights. Kitchen was well-stocked. Kate the greeter was great. Would definitely stay again.

Great location

Great location. Apartment is nice and clean. Property manager communicates well. Only suggestion is we had to buy toilet paper and paper towels. Everyone around including the neighborhood was very nice and friendly. Thank you and we loved Budapest !

Great apartment in the best location in Budapest. Check in and check out was a breeze. Dont let the common areas scare you off. Its normal and worth the wait for the apartment. Highly recommend.

Budapest review

Nice apartment in very good location in Budapest. A metro stop is literally across the street. St. Stephen’s Cathedral is a 3 minute walk and lots nice of shops, restaurants, etc., are just a few minutes away. Easy walk to the Danube. Overall, a great alternative to a hotel in Budapest that provides much more room, a kitchen, etc. We enjoyed our stay.

Lovely Place to Stay in Budapest

This apartment is even more elegant than the pictures depict. It’s clean and large. There is plenty of storage space, and the WiFi works well. The washer/dryer combo worked great. We figured out how to ride public transportation with Apple maps & that took us everywhere we wanted to go. (FYI- if you are over 65, it’s free!!). Of course walking is also an option as you see so much. Communication with the property manager was excellent with timely communication & detailed check-in instructions. Kate greeted us right on time & was so friendly & helpful. We were able to store our luggage in the apartment while she finished up with cleaning.

Review

The check in was extremely stressful. There was no one there to meet us, and everyone we called did not answer their phones. After an out of standing in the lobby we reached Kate. She arrived about 45 minutes later and it was obvious that she had no information on our reservation. The apartment had not been cleaned and we had to leave while Kate cleaned the apartment. She was in such a hurry that she didn’t leave any coffee. Once everything was settled we enjoyed our stay. The apartment was lovely and in a great location.

Beautiful apartment in ideal location

Stately, bright and nicely decorated apartment in an ideal location. Very comfortable beds and nicely furnished. Well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washer/dryer. Apartment is located in a building that fronts a major street, but the actual apartment is located down a few winding hallways and front a fairly quiet side street. This unit is ideal for one or two couples, or a group of friends. One bedroom features a king size bed. A separate room has a queen size pullout bed, and the livingroom has a sofa bed. A variety of restaurants and grocery stores are within a few minutes of walking. The Arany Janos metro station (M3 line) is immediately across the street, and only one stop from the train station. The M3 line also conveniently connects to the other Metro lines. You can but single tickets or 24, 48 and 72 hour passes, or group tickets from the machine outside Arany Janos. FYI , not all stations had machines. This was a perfect apartment for our three-day visit to Budapest. The location was 10/10. Excellent service and communication. Can highly recommend

Wir können einen Aufenthalt in der Ferienwohnung uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Sie hat eine tolle Ausstattung und ist im Wohlfühlambiente eingerichtet. Die Gastgeberin war sehr zuvorkommend und stand für alle Nachfragen zur Verfügung. Der absolute Pluspunkt ist aber die unglaublich zentrale Lage. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Perfect Location near St. Stephens - Our 2nd Stay!

This home truly is in the most perfect location near St Stephens. It was our 2nd stay here and we didn't regret it! A metro stop right across the street. Amazing restaurants close by and a Lidl grocery store right down the street. We travel a lot with our daughters (11 and 14) and stay in a lot of places and for the money - this is an amazing spot! Kate is wonderful and helpful and easy to contact. On this particular trip our travel was completely messed up by airline worker strikes in Germany. Kate and Daniela helped so much by providing flexibility and a late check out on our final day. Very thankful.

Perfect location, nice apartment

Communication with the property owner was almost impossible; the greeter(Kate) never showed up to explain the apartment to us. The cleaning lady, who did not speak English let us in. She told us to call Kate to explain the appliances; Kate’s number was not good. The apartment is lovely and the location couldn’t be better—2 blocks from St. Stephens. Please know that you are on your own if you rent this apartment. We are experienced travelers and have lived in Central Europe so we made everything work.

First trip to Budapest

We stayed for a week in this beautiful home. The location is perfect! Kate was very sweet and waited for us, as we had to sort out lost luggage upon arrival. Unfortunately, my husband had a medical issue the day we were leaving and again Kate was great with helping us get an ambulance. Off to the hospital for emergency surgery, so we’re still in Budapest….. I only wish we were still in this lovely place.

Fantastic Appartement

Wonderful and a faboulous appartement . Our flight got delayed and delayed and we arrived in the middle of the night . That wasn’t a problem at all ,and they were so helpful . Fantastic location as well . Highly recommend staying there.

The host cancelled the day we were to arrive (while en route from Canada via London) as their power was disconnected. They offered that we could stay there and they would provide candles, but with no electricity that was impossible. We wouldn’t even be able to charge our phone to navigate/communicate never mind we wouldn’t have use of any of the amenities (fridge, stove, lights, air conditioning, washer/dryer etc) that we paid a premium to have access to. We eventually found a comparable place across the street for two thirds the price which was good. They agreed to refund our money paid but it made for a very stressful first time in Budapest scrambling to find alternative accommodation. We heard from locals it takes 3 months of not paying an electric bill for it to get disconnected so we were shocked that was the reason given for them not being able to provide what we had paid for and ultimately canceling. We wanted to make people aware of our experience before you make a decision to book or not.

Beautiful and comfortable spot in heart of Budapest

My family and I had a wonderful stay in this lovely and well-located apartment that was within striking distance of so many places we wanted to see and walk to in Budapest. The apartment itself is well-maintained and beautifully decorated. The neighborhood is lively and central, and the property owner was helpful and kind. We would definitely stay here again in the future if we’re so lucky.
