"The lords seat was a lovely place to stay, very comfortable and clean. Great location with amazing views. Nice to have the extras like the dvds and games. The only disappointing thing was the water going off (ironic in the lake district) but obviously not your fault. The only thing that would have helped is instructions on a couple of things. We struggled with the hob as it clicks off every time we put the pan on and hadnt used that sort of hob before so took a while to figure it out. It was a...

"This is an excellent house in superb state of repair with very good quality furniture. It is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The booking process was simple and Martin Wardle of the agents was extremely helpful. The house is situated in a village which is very near Kendal, the lakes and just over one hour to the Solway coast. "We had a very enjoyable stay at Rosebank the place was immaculate. The little touches of fresh flowers , welcome pack for us and our dog was very much appreciated. Even hand wash in both bathrooms and kitchen we usually take our own as none usually provided , plenty of dishwasher tablets and washing up liquid everything thought of .
