The view of the ocean was beautiful. I’m sure it helped we had some bright sunny days along with a day of rain. The outside deck was nice because it is covered allowing us to sit out in the light rain. Great access to the beach. Kitchen was terrific for cooking Thanksgiving dinner. The overall atmosphere was cozy and comfortable.

This place is amazing. Best short term rental I've experienced in nearly 20 years of using them. The beach views were awesome, we really enjoyed watching the sea lions & seals (binoculars provided). If it had been available I would have extended our stay. I tried to book again in Sept but no availability. The house is so comfortable & has very nice amenities. Trish at the property management company was extremely helpful and very nice. My advice to anyone staying there: don't take the steps down to the beach. As you walk out of the gate, turn left & walk along the path next to the road. You will soon come to a lovely paved path that leads to a sandy beach.

Would’ve been great if everything worked

Beautiful house great beach access, but neither fireplaces worked so it was pretty cold at night.They sent someone out to repair it and the repair man left saying it worked but was probably low on gas. There was floor heating, but that thermostat shut off automatically every few hours, so it’s still got cold through the night. Also the stairs on the way down to the beach were overgrown with shrubs and some boards were loose. Be careful.

Majestic redwoods to sunset paradise!

We enjoyed our stay at Sea Star Escape A. The home was well equipped and very private, with immediate access to all the wonders of Oregon’s amazing south coast and redwood parks. We spent the early mornings hiking and evenings winding down while watching sunsets. It was a complete adventure. Communication was excellent and promptly followed up. Bed was incredibly comfortable and you get views throughout the whole house. Sunsets over the backdrop of Harris beach and the rocks are a must see. Added bonus is the access to the beach from the property. Great way to get your steps in the morning.

Wonderful house!

This house was even better than the pictures and description said. It was perfect for us in every way. Fun walk down MANY well-cared-for steps to private beach, many walking options nearby, and gorgeous scenery every way you look. The house is spectacular and well-appointed. We were only 2 people but agreed we could bring our entire families and be comfortable in this house. Fun, tiny treehouse on the property and lovely landscaping. Property managers were responsive and helpful. Secure inside a gate and great outside spaces to enjoy morning tea and an evening beverage watching the spectacular sunsets. We will be back.

Great view from most rooms

We have stayed here before and it was not as nice this time. A few things in the house didn’t work, like the radiant floor, jetted tub and fireplace in master. Also a few new homes going in in the area, so hearing them work on them wasn’t so pleasant. However the stairs going down to the beach had improved with a nice cement stairs at the bottom. Also found pet hair in the house. Could use a deep clean and reorganize the kitchen cabinets.

Incredible View

Lovely house. Bright and cheery. There’s a small “tree fort” with a ladder to climb into it. Parking has limited space but is adequate for one car. No washer or dryer in unit but we didn’t care. They give you plenty of towels for the stay. Its a very nice house, view was unbelievably beautiful, very very clean. Overall would recommend this place. We enjoyed our stay. The host communication was A+++++! Also the unit was safe because there were multiple “locks” to access the unit. Unit A is ground level and there’s a smaller rental unit upstairs but there was no upstairs noise and no highway noise either.

Panoramic view

Had a fine stay. Panoramic view. Spacious apartment. Had all the amenities we needed. Local beach was fun. Somewhat cumbersome process to enter the apartment - locks on driveway gate and two doors - just a minor inconvenience. Overall had an enjoyable time.

Spectacular views & Luxury

I don’t think we’ve ever seen a better ocean view from a unit. It was a beautiful experience. Bring your own coffee service. I can’t say a bad thing about this place. It was delightful. Check on time is at 4:00 pm and check out is at 10:00 am.

Stunning views. Clean property.

Stunning views and serene, clean home. At low tide you can walk past Harris Beach from the small private beach at the bottom of the stairs. The listing photos show 2 full bathrooms and there was only 1 full bathroom, with a 1/2 bath near the second very small bedroom. The primary bedroom is huge and beautiful, with a lovely bathroom (though the tub’s bubble controls did not work). Kitchen was clean, and has basic supplies, with nonstick cookware. But really it’s all about the view and the tiny private beach.
