We enjoyed the house. Some of the amenities that were pictured were not available for use (the dome sitting area was broken), the indoor fireplace was not working, & the shooting arcade game was not there. Outside of that, the host was very responsive and fixed the fireplace issue relatively promptly.

Spring Break Away!!

This cabin was just the place we needed for our relaxing break away from the hustle and bustle of the city! The bed was so comfy I was able to take the best needed naps!! All the kitchenware was spot-on as we were able to make great family time meals. Outdoors was our favorite..from the swing set, to the blackstone on the porch to the hot tub!!! We truly enjoyed this cabin..What a "Retreat"!!

Great time for family

Overall, we really enjoyed staying there. The kids had a blast getting to go outside and play whenever they wanted! It was far enough from the road that I wasn’t worried about their safety outside. Really close to beavers bend, a safari park, an awesome petting zoo and some other fun things to do. We loved our time there! Main critique is that the fridge temperature was set too high and took almost a full day to cool down. We had to throw out some food we bought and buy coolers and ice to keep the food cold until the fridge was cold enough. Other than that there were just a few minor things that would have been great to have in the kitchen, but nothing we couldn’t work around: a can opener that worked, a pitcher, a cookie sheet or two, and more dish towels.

We had a wonderful time! This is a beautiful home that was more than enough room for our family of 7 to spread out in. Some of the things we loved: having lots of extra towels for both the bathrooms and the hot tub, nice finishes in the bathrooms and kitchen, full size bottles of shampoo/conditioner/body soap, an amazing common area with the biggest couch I've every seen, the best mattress I've ever slept on while on vacation, an awesome fire pit, and a great swing set for our grandson. It was also the cleanest place we've ever stayed. There's so much to do in the area. We really enjoyed the train ride, hiking, paddle boating and kayaking on the lake in Beavers Bend State Park. The Hochatown Rescue Center and Petting Zoo was a lot of fun as well. We will definitely be back!

Best weekend ever!

This property was everything we wanted and more! Lynn was so wonderful and attentive, the house was so welcoming and had everything we could’ve thought we might need. The game room, play area and hot tub were my first thought to be the best parts of the house, however my girls were obsessed with the amazing 3 tier bunk bed and my husband was ready to buy the couch. I can’t say enough good things about this property, and great escapes! 10 out of 10

Great!

This was a great cabin for our family of five. Loved the outdoor features as well as the clean, comfortable indoor features. Kitchen was well-stocked (except for a can opener which was maybe tucked away somewhere that we couldn’t find it). Also, the hunting arcade game did not work (and maybe hasn’t been working for a while, based on a previous review). Not a big deal, but maybe should be removed from pictures and the listing if it isn’t in working order - it caused some initial disappointment with our boys who were looking forward to it. Overall a great place - we would definitely stay here again.

Perfectly designed upscale home for family of 5 and 2 dogs for a cozy christmas week! Hot tub was perfect, fire pit and playground outside and just enough space for dogs to roam. House is well appointed and super comfortable- everything we needed for a wonderful holiday! We will definitely be back again!

Family thanksgiving trip

We really enjoyed our stay here. There were 4 adults and 2 small children in our group and we had plenty of space. The property was very clean with fun things to keep the kids entertained. The location was also great since it was right off the main highway. One of the arcade games was not working properly, but the staff was very responsive and sounded like they would be working on it after we left per our request.

This cabin was very comfortable and great for family with kids. My grandkids enjoyed the swing set. Furnishings are all very nice and comfortable and in great shape. You can tell the host takes great care of and does everything to make sure your stay is exceptional. Most defiantly will be back next year.
