Exactly as pictured! Great communication from host! Parking right in front of the door made bringing suitcases in and out very easy. One thing I really loved was the digital door lock. It made the entry process so easy.I felt very safe in the neighborhood and would definitely stay there again, if in the area.

What a lovely studio!! Checking in and out was so easy. The studio looks just like the pictures. The hosts had everything there that one would need except an iron/board. Quaint little town with limited dining choices but many options near by. We will definitely use this place again.

Weekend retreat

Came to town by myself for a weekend workshop. I really liked the cozy studio. Weather was rainy so I didn’t explore the outdoor space but was comfortable and warm inside.

An easy drive from Bradley airport, this studio is excellently located in a small community off the “main drag” between Hartford and Springfield. It is an easy walk, just past the idyllic and scenic millpond, to the Broad Brook Opera House. All the amenities were there even dog bowls and plenty of Dunkin’ coffee. (It is New England and they love their Dunkin’ coffee.) Nice and clean. Directions were excellent. Parking was never an issue. Would stay again.

The studio itself is beautiful and functional. An iron needs to be added, though. The outside is another story. The building looks as though it’s poor housing. No walkway to the unit (maybe a few larger pavers would work). Glad I checked in during daylight; nighttime would be concerning.

Apartment in a region underserved by high-quality hotels

We were very happy to find an apartment that was just a three-minute drive to our daughter’s house. The apartment was very clean. We bought paper cups and plates to minimize hand washing of dishes. Turning on the heat was very different from what we are used to, but my husband figured it out.

Inside of this property was well appointed, we had enough towels for showers and the shower had great pressure with a large step-in shower stall. Toilet was not bolted to the floor causing it to shift when using. The upright dresser was full of extra bedding in every drawer, we had to clean them out so we could use a few. The closet area of the dresser was full of cleaning supplies, a dirty vacuum, and a swiffer that had not been changed. We had dress clothes that could not be put into this closet and draped them over the couch instead (suggest a separate, locked closet to house additional items). Had to clean the pots & pans prior to use (greasy), we were left a very used sponge (had to buy more), shower curtain was dirty. Apartment is on a noisy main road preventing a good nights rest (the 'two' noise machines helped a little bit). Front of unit was muddy and overgrown with weeds. The pond area picture on the listing is deceiving. This area could not be accessed and was a mess. Extra cars were parked there, driveway had deep potholes and very overgrown with grass and weeds. We had to park sideways in the park spots in the front because we had an SUV with a carrier on the back that would have gotten too close to the road if we didn't park sideways. The girl living next door with a blue suv got upset because we were parked sideways and parked her car way over into our spot. We didn't want to cause any issues so we made due regardless. Not a positive visit at all.
