"Amazing location overlooking the harbour at Brixham. The breakfast was excellent and our dog was also treated to a breakfast sausage.
Loved the cafe on the otherside of the harbour. Excellent coffee and cakes."

"A lovely, relaxing stay. Claire and Chris made us so welcome. The information they provided prior to our stay was excellent. The room was great; clean, tidy and the bed was very comfortable. A lovely full english breakfast and free parking close to the premises. We will definitely stay there again."

"This place suited my needs perfectly, it had ample parking and was within a 5 minute walk of the harbour. The owner was lovely and the rooms were beautiful and the breakfast was delicious. I also liked that there were sitting rooms downstairs, a large garden and summer house for guests to use. I will definitely be going back. "

Fantastic staff, friendly and informative.

"A lovely three night stay at Downton Lodge. Martin and Andrew are excellent hosts who ensure that they run a guest house with very high standards. Lots of details have been considered to provide everything one might need whilst away from home. Breakfast is cooked very well with high quality ingredients, and the hosts known the area in depth so that they can advise their guests of what to do and see. Overall, an excellent stay."
