Beautiful home on the Back Bay of Lake Superior near Bay Mills Resort and Casino

Welcome to the “Bertram’s By The Bay!” This home has a private, direct, view of the Back Bay of Lake Superior, right out the window. It is 5 minutes from the Bay Mills Resort and Casino. We have a small child’s swing set in the back yard, fire pit, two kayaks, and a garage bay for parking. The home has three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and a heated mud room to hang snow gear. We hope you enjoy the cozy and relaxing environment!

Everything was as listed, clean and comfortable. we were welcomed with a card and some treats on the table. awesome communication from the host. very easy check in. our only complaint was the smell of the water, but that wouldnt be enough to deter us from coming back.

This place exactly met our needs for a weekend visit with our son. We will definitely be back for future visits and there’s plenty of room to bring all of our kids. Kitchen was especially well-appointed. The nicest cooking materials selection I’ve had in a cabin/rental like this.

Enjoyed our stay. Kayaks were a plus along with fire pit. Cheap wood close by. Clean, quiet and peaceful. Amazing sunrises. Could have been stocked with more toilet paper and towels. Would definitely stay again. Amy responded quickly to my check out message

B.e.a.u.t.i.f.u.l.We came from Grand Rapids, MI, Orlando, FL and Minneapolis, MN for a girls trip. If you're flying into CIU this is a great place to stay. 1 hour from most of what we wanted to do, but only 20/30 minutes from the Sault and the airport.It was fantastic to be right on the lake. Spacious sectional couch, WAY more room than we needed (but if you're snowmobiling, you'd appreciate the mud room.)We did a lot of travel, but found the accomodations incredibly comfortable.Full size kitchen, toaster, dishwasher, counter space, crockpot, dishes and appliances.We LOVED the LEGO table (if you have kiddos, they had sandbox toys, a playground, and a basket of small stuffed toys.)

The location on the back bay of Lake Superior is gorgeous. We enjoyed the sunsets and sun rises over the water. The house has undergone lots of additions and changes. It is lacking many finishing touches but we found its quirkiness to be charming. Amy communicated before and during our stay. The check in process was seamless.

Great view of the lake. 1 of the bathroom sinks was draining very slow. The beds are super soft, not great for my back but some might like that. The kitchen has a great coffee maker, but wasn't stocked with basics like butter. Loved having morning coffee on the back deck looking at the lake. It was quiet and peaceful. Overall a good place to stay.

Amy's place was perfect for us. We have family in the area and enjoy coming back several times a year to visit. It was our first time staying here and we will definitely will be back. The place was immaculate and she had everything we needed for our stay. The location was very quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck overlooking the water.

Great Location on the Lake

The location is remote, quiet and right on the lake. The kids loved the yard and water. The host was excellent and communicated well. We made day trips to several UP locations. The home is a bit rustic. It was beautiful scenery and felt like camping. Thank you!

had a great time.

We kept very busy seeing the sights and relaxing at the house. Only 1 suggestion. Leave more toilet paper. We had to go out and but some. All females staying at the house, 3 of whom were unfortunately on their periods. Keeping extra available under the sinks would have been most helpful.

Great for a Family

We had a wonderful stay here with our family. The host is a great communicator and set us up well. A highlight was kayaking on the lake under a double rainbow. It was an incredible experience! We recommend this place for others to enjoy as well!
