Great Western at Brighton Resort

DUE TO NUMEROUS REQUESTS, WE ARE RENTING THE WHOLE HOUSE AGAIN! Since 2020 we have only rented the upstairs but this year we are opening up the remodeled downstairs, doubling the sleep capacity. Great Western is a spacious mountain home located at the base of Brighton Resort, just a two-minute walk from the lifts. With vaulted ceilings, beautiful views of the ski area, multiple living spaces, and a private hot tub, this home is a great fit for families and groups looking to stay right in the heart of Brighton.

Important Winter Access Information
From November 1 through April 15, winter traction requirements may be in effect in Big Cottonwood Canyon. Utah Department of Transportation and Town of Brighton regulations may require vehicles to have approved snow tires, 3PMSF-rated tires, or chains depending on conditions.
Snow removal at the property is provided by a local vendor and may be intermittent during active storms. Cottonwood Lodging does not control plowing schedules.
During snowy weather, we strongly recommend arriving before 8:00 PM whenever possible, as roads and parking areas may become more difficult to access later in the evening.

Parking is limited to 3-4 vehicles directly in front of the home. Parking beyond the home is paid Brighton Resort parking and is not available to guests.

The Space

Entry Level
Enter the home on the lower level into a spacious entry area. Please do not leave ski gear here to protect the flooring. There is a separate ski gear area on the east side of the home (towards Brighton Resort) with entrance through the French doors.

Main Living Area
Upstairs, the main living area features vaulted ceilings, a large sectional sofa, flat-screen TV, deck access, and beautiful views of Brighton Resort. The open layout makes this a comfortable gathering space after a day on the mountain.

Kitchen & Dining
The fully equipped kitchen includes a four-burner convection range, full-size refrigerator, cookware, dishes, utensils, and other essentials for preparing meals during your stay.
The dining table seats 8 guests.

Queen bed with access to the shared lower-level bathroom.

Bunk bed with a queen on bottom and twin on top with access to the shared lower-level bathroom.

Kids' Sleeping Loft
A loft accessed by a metal ladder with a queen mattress and a twin mattresses. This space is best suited for children/teenagers - ladder may not be suited for very small children.

All beds are made with comfortable linens and warm bedding.

Bathrooms
Two full bathrooms are located on the upper level, each conveniently positioned next to the queen bedrooms.
A third full bathroom with a shower is located on the lower level between the two downstairs bedrooms.
Bathrooms are stocked with towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, and hair dryers.

Private Hot Tub & Deck
The back deck features a private 4-person hot tub with fantastic views of Brighton Resort and the surrounding mountains.
The lower patio and garage are not available for guest use.
