"Nicole and Malcolm make Craigmount so special. Book themed bedrooms to reflect Wigtown, and a lovely sitting room to read or eatch TV. Our double bedded room with ensuite overlooked the garden. The room was quite compact, and made more so by our largish suitcases. If you have big bags, perhaps book a family room. All the rooms are accessible via stairs. The pre-ordered breakfast was freshly cooked and wonderful. Dinner options in town or nearby were limited, except to drive, especially mid-week....

"Cannot recommend highly enough. A small en-suite room with 2 bunk beds for £36 a night - what is not to like. Sparklingly clean and access to kitchen with microwave and toaster. Rooms are newly designed with modern bathroom and one of the best showers I have had. Not much storage space, a bedside locker would have helped by providing a surface to utilise or even a shelf over the radiator. The photo is not the actual property- where is the alleyway on the right?"

"I was surprised that there was no car park, but the street parking was okay. My spacious room on the front was a bit too warm overnight (we are having unusally warm weather) so I had the window open.On Saturday night, people outside were noisy until 1.05am, but there was little noise from within the building. The staff were friendly and helpful. At breakfast the omelette was huge. "
