"The room was compact but ideal for a short break. I’m never in it very long. Get there, have a shower ,get changed , go out , come back , have a shower get into a comfortable bed wake up ,same again. Go home. Very handy for the Oval cricket ground. Some nice typical London corner pubs in the area . Also very near selection of Portuguese restaurants that stay open late and are all very welcoming. Area is very much typical old school London mixed with high-rise modern which I like. Great staff...

"We were just there as an overnight stay. When we arrived I was a little worried because the Gateway Hotel was right on the main road going through Clapham, but you didn’t hear much road noise at all. We were there during the heat wave and was pleasantly surprised by a portable AC unit for the apt. I would definitely go there again and recommend it to others."

There is nothing on the building door that says you are at Charles Hope apartments. If you follow the directions from hotel.com they are wrong. If you look up Charles hope on google this is wrong.
