Bike Path Getaway in Town | 4 Bed, 2 Bath

This home is a place for you to come and reset, relax and enjoy the outdoors, especially if you have a bike! This home is centrally located right on the bike path  in the charming town of Brevard. Families can walk (or ride your bike) to conveniently located grocery stores (Aldi), fast food eateries (McDonalds, Arby's, Zaxby's, Wendy's, Bojangles, Cook Out). The house is a fifteen minute walk to the downtown area, passing through the Brevard Lumberyard area with breweries, art galleries, live music venue (185 King Street) and two restaurants.
The floor plan is the traditional ranch style with three bedrooms on one end of the home and the kitchen and living spaces on the other.  The sizable back yard is completely fenced in.  There are neighbors on the left and right as this is in a typical neighborhood for the area.  Fully equipped modern styled kitchen. There is a washer and dryer off the kitchen for your convenience.
Professionally managed, linens provided, dish soap and hand soap provided, house will be ready for you by check in time at 3pm.
Extra storage in the basement area, accessed by going around to the back of the house, where you can put bikes.
Designed with a ‘slow’ pace in mind, our hope is that you enjoy every part of your stay; from making local coffee by drip in the morning, relaxing on the front covered porch, or playing your favorite songs while enjoying the evening air in the fenced back yard. The one level living features a spacious kitchen and comfy living room.

The Host
As your host during your stay, White Squirrel Realty is easy to reach by text or phone.  Each home is supplied with fresh, professionally laundered linens and supplies to make your stay comfortable.  Our cleaning crew is local, paid a living wage and are trained so that you can enjoy your vacation in a clean home.
Confirmed guests will receive a text message to the cell phone on the reservation with a link to the essential information you need to enjoy your stay like the door code and the directions.  The digital guide book has information on the property and also on the area including restaurants, grocery stores and popular destinations.  Guests can go straight to the property at check-in time.

Responsive Friendly Hospitality

With 4 bedrooms to choose from, we could select THE bed that was Just Right! Lots of birdsong to greet each day. Cordial hosts took care of minor plumbing problem ASAP. Best features: the covered porch swing for rainy days and watching the nightly firefly show in the backyard - spectacular! Make sure to check in at the Pisgah Forest ranger station for road closures that may impede access to several waterfall hikes.

Brief Brevard Stay

We were fortunate to be able to secure this home at the last minute after a family emergency occurred. The house was in a perfect location and we enjoyed the front porch and the comfortable beds. We loved walking the neighborhood and appreciated the beautiful landscaping all around. The bedroom fans were a bit squeaky and the TV operation needed some directions, but that's about all we found to criticize. I will definitely look to book this listing again.

Great Location

House was in a great location, could walk to both Aldi and Ingles grocery stores. The house was right on the bike trail, so easy ride into downtown. The house worked very well for an extended stay with retired couple escaping cold weather up north.

Stay at quiet home near central Brevard

Very nice home with well equipped large kitchen. In a quiet neighborhood but very near to shopping. We were able to sleep seven people, although almost everyone needed to share a queen or king bed. Only suggestions: we would have liked more chairs around the dining room table. Also, the master bath should probably have a handle to help with getting out of the tub/shower. It would have helped to have 2 single beds in at least one of the bedrooms.

Spotless Home with Great Location

I stayed at this home with my wife and adult son for three nights as we visited Brevard, the surrounding area and the Blue Ridge Parkway. I enjoy photography, my wife and I love to hike and my son loves to ride his bike on the trails and run them as well. The location was absolutely perfect for those activities. The house was a great fit for us and well located within Brevard. Excellent restaurants and the downtown area were nearby and a large grocery story was just around the corner. The kitchen was extremely well stocked and also included snacks and coffee. The bedding was comfortable and the house was impeccably clean. There is a large backyard backing up to a wooded area so there is the feeling of being in a neighborhood while still very near downtown and businesses. The check in and out process was very smooth. This is a very well managed property. We plan to be back!

Weekend get-away at the Falls

This charming house is well appointed and well equipped. It rests in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to the grocery and a short drive to downtown. The property was clean and had several entertainment options. I could not ask for a more pleasant experience. Bravo to the management!

Simple, clean and comfortable

We chose this rental for the fenced in yard for our dogs. It is an older home and only 1 television. King sized bed was comfortable but my adult kids didn't find the queens to be very comfortable. The area was convenient close to the grocery but secluded enough that traffic couldn't be heard.

Cozy, well maintained and convenient

We loved our stay. The house had smaller rooms and was a little older but we expected that. The house was excellently maintained and clean. It was very convenient to downtown shops, restaurants, the grocery store and everything we needed. The only drawback was that it was next door to the middle school and the loudspeaker announcements early in the morning were loud and the pickup and drop off line sometimes blocked the street so we could get out to go to town. Would recommend this listing and would stay there again. Loved watching the white squirrel in the backyard.
