At least a dozen highly regarded restaurants lie within a block of the building. Multiple galleries, boutiques and antique stores can be found throughout our charming downtown. Oskar Blues, Sierra Nevada, Ecusta and Noblebrau breweries are within 10 minutes drive. Brevard Music Center is less than a mile and a half away. Hiking, rock climbing, fly-fishing, and mountain biking are unmatched in Pisgah National Forest and Dupont State Forest, 15 minutes and 25 minutes drive, respectively. And of course Sliding Rock is a must-do!
A bit further afield you can explore the Cradle of Forestry, Blue Ridge Parkway, historic Biltmore, Gorges State Park, PARI (astronomical research institute), the Hwy 276 arts corridor and more. Asheville, Cashiers, Highlands and Greenville (SC) are less than an hour away and offer even more to explore. After 25 years of vacationing in Brevard we find new places to explore every year!
