  • Rent Country house 160m², very easy to live in, for rent in August 2020, for around 8 beds

    Large garden of around 5000m², protected and fenced with high gate

    Ground floor: 1 double bedroom new 160x180 bed, 1 bathroom shower and bath with WC,

    Large living room 40 / 50m² with large dining table for 8 people

    Well-equipped 15m² kitchen (electric oven and induction hob, nespresso machine, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer) with table for children's lunch / dinner

    Upstairs: 1 double bedroom new 160x180 bed and 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds each
    1 bathroom with large bath and separate toilet

    The house is equipped with changing table, baby cots and high chairs, if necessary.

    The house is 3 minutes from the village of Breteuil s / Iton, with numerous shops (bakery, butcher, press, etc.) and supermarket and 15 minutes from Verneuil sur Avre and Conches en Ouche

Large house. Gorgeous garden. Cleanliness absolutely terrible. Would not recommend

This is the only way Vrbo say I can discuss the holiday with the lady who owns the house and I think Vrbo customer service is shocking. The house was large and the garden was lovely for a family but the cleanliness was shocking. Both bathrooms were filthy and I had to clean them immediately. The downstairs shower had a Pooh wrapped in the shower curtain when we arrived and we believe the upstairs toilet must have a small leak as it stank of urine and once I cleaned it, it improved but came back by the end of the first week. We found 3 dressmakers pins on the stairs, the bin was half full, there was loads of food left in the freezer, even old baguettes so we had to sort the freezer before we could go and do a shop for ourselves. A tile fell off the roof which we left in the kitchen. It appeared to us as if the house had not been cleaned in a long long time as there was heavy dust everywhere but for us, the bathrooms and the pins on the stairs were totally unacceptable. The local town is lovely as is the larger town, Verneiul which had lots more to do. However, there was limited activities for a family group. We went into Paris a couple of times, which was enjoyable. I would have chosen for Vrbo to communicate with the owners of the property but was told I had to do a review first, which is not a nice way to deal with this I do not think. I do not think we should have paid what we did and really do feel that there is a need to check the cleanliness of the properties being advertised before offering them to customers. I would appreciate some of our money to be refunded and a review of the properties cleanliness to be undertaken.

Very nice place

We had a great time in this lovely house. The big yard and the beautiful surroundings make it a great place to stay. The daily trip by bike to the supermarkt for fresh bread was a treat! Highly recommended!
