Please be aware that we are on a well water system, but we do provide drinking water. The water is safe to cook with and bath in, it just has a sulfur smell to it. Most guests do not have an issue with the smell of the water.

We love it here, and it was such a gorgeous long weekend! We always enjoy our stay here with our friends. It’s a wonderful, spacious, secluded, and generally peaceful get-a-way. We were excited to have beautiful weather this time around, so we were finally able to take advantage of the back yard with the deck, grill and fire-pit! And, of course, we got in a few tastings at Apple Barrel Orchards, Ravine Winery, and Keuka Spring Vineyards!

A comfy country retreat

We stayed here to enjoy a sisters reunion. It was a great base to explore many beautiful areas in central NY. We hiked Watkins Glen State park, visited Letchworth State Park, and explored the Women’s Rights National Historic Park. There are many wineries to visit and antique stores to browse.

Perfect house for our weekend getaway

I booked this house for my friend's bachelorette party and we had such a good time at this house. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and the house was so clean and comfy. We had 6 people and everyone slept comfortably. The pond was so beautiful and my friends loved floating around on the provided tubes! It's a little hard to find at first but we loved the seclusion. We had a great day exploring the wineries. Would love to stay here again!

Weekend wine tour

Enjoyed a quiet evening by the fire our 1st night. Unfortunately it rained the 2nd day or we would have ended the day in the same manor. Wine tour was fun despite the weather & very thankful we had arranged transportation. Love the Finger Lakes region and appreciated the attention to detail from our host.

Great location for family

We stayed here for 5 nights and used the home as a central location to visit historic sites in Palmyra, Fayette, and Oakland township. The property is definitely remote, but it was nice to have our own space. My youngest LOVED jumping in the pond every afternoon. Well water smelled heavily of sulfur but large water cooler was provided for drinking water. We stayed during a heavy heat wave with incredibly high humidity so the portable AC units served us well (no central air). We appreciated the washer and dryer. Overall a great location and space for our family of 7!

Cozy Thoughtfully Curated Home

Warm, functional home with 3 bedrooms and plenty of outdoor entertainment space. Wood and everything else you would need to have a small fire and outdoor activities to escape from the busy life we see in MA. Very clean with a full kitchen as well! Our favorite was the welcoming decor for all walks of life. We had a varying age group but we all thought it was a perfect place. The only thing is the water does smell like sulfur (eggs). We have seen it before but if someone hasn’t it could be off putting… but to our surprise there was a complimentary water cooler we all appreciated! Would definitely stay again!

Nice little getaway spot

There's more than meets the eye when it comes to this property. Very spacious- was able to house 6 dudes comfortably. Kitchen was great for cooking, and the pond/property was awesome to explore.

Gorgeous location and house

This vrbo is perfect! The view is gorgeous, and the inside of the house is so cute, clean, and great for a large group of people. It had everything we needed. The owner was very kind and responsive.

Secluded beauty

This property was beautiful. A true hidden gem in the hills of NY. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life this is a place for you. The view and solitude of the back deck was most enjoyable, Especially in the morning with cup of coffee in hand and the sun rising .The house was very well kept, clean and well stocked for anyone traveling near or far.The hosts were most accommodating and answered all of my questions promptly.

Nice Place To Get Away

Very comfortable and pleasant stay. Off the track. I would recommend this location. Near the wine region which we were looking for. Nice view with the small pond and woods. TV in every room was nice good reception and internet. Had most of what we needed provided. A little hard to find the right road and turn. The water has an odor we’re not used to. Properly noted that it was not potable. A water dispenser was provided which was nice.
